I'm sorry Frilly. Have you ever been tested for insulin resistance? Any immunity testing?

Wow Chantel , I hear the longing for a daughter loud & clear in the words you have posted, I am so very sorry to that it hasn't worked out for you , Maybe this is the next step for you, give it your best shot , do it with everything you've got, never give up hope, because hope is all we have. Keep:bigsmile:
Thanks nbp, no I haven't had any immunity tests done, ive only had t3, t4 and thyroid stimulating hormone. Do you know what the tests are called that I should have done? Thanks
nurse2003, I feel your pain - and I know it hurts so bad.
I am in a similar situation, as you can see from my sig/posts - never had fertility issues before (two boys age 7 (almost 8!) and 4)...
...and now after 3 failed cycles I am being told I have poor ovarian reserve - I feel so old! (38!).
I have just been told by my doctor that egg donor is my best bet...well, I am not ruling it out but not ready to go there just yet...I am going to try a different protocol (micro dose Lupron Flare) and DHEA, acupuncture etc
I feel what you feel & I want a daughter so much - we have decided not to give up until I am 40!
Don't give up

Michaela and glory know way more than I do. I would get an insulin resistance test done though. That's an easy one. I would make a post and see what the girls think. You make lots of embryos so I just wonder if there is an underlying reason for things to not work out for you!
Hi nurse
I am sorry about your situation. How old are you? Im justing asking because i heard that 2/3 women over 40 who fall pregnant naturally concieve daughters. The older you get the more likely you are to concieve girls. So even waiting a while to see what your options will not hurt because even if decide to put it off and fall pregnant later in life. You might get your girl!
