So is PCOS the only reason for long cycles? :(

No, it's not (HA is also the cause as well) but it's by far the most likely. A lot of people do not have full blown PCOS but still have some symptoms such as long cycles - so I really should ahve written PCOS-tendencies, because you can have some symptoms and not the syndrome itself.
I just don't want to believe that I could have pcos. :( It would be my worst fears come true. I do have irregular cycles, but I'm not infertile. Pretty much the minute I stop using bcp/condoms I get pregnant. I got pregnant with an iud even. I'm not infertile at all. It seems to me if I did have it I would have trouble conceiving. I was tested for it after DS was born and showed up negative. And I did not have gestational diabetes with him. My blood sugar was perfect.

When I conceived my boys I had a 28-31 day cycle and now I'm super irregular :(
Most people with PCOS even full blown, are not infertile.
If you were tested and found in the clear, that's great. But you can still develop it later. Some researchers believe that up to 75% of all women would develop PCOS if their diet and lifestyle supported it strongly enough.
Before i became pg with ds 1, my cycles were 22/23 long. And with ds2 27/28
