I'm pretty sure that's not how you work the angle out. It's the angle in relation to the spine. Hopefully someone else can work this out for you.
This is a picture an u/s technician did and I borrowed it since it's my picture lol.
check out some of the research articles on this - you will see this is not how to do the angle. the newest stuff uses the lower spine to set the straight line (your pic wouldn't be sufficient to do this properly because the spine is not fully showing and the spine isn't perfectly straight). It is a girl nub, the only question is whether it will rise with time :)
I agree that's not how you work the angle out. I know this us a tech and that's why I'm gob smacked
Thanks ladies, if someone is able to get the image and draw the proper lines where it's supposed to be feel free to do so! I am still thinking blue as the tip is raised a bit so we shall see in 2 weeks.
Thanks for all your responses :)
Whoever drew on that has no idea how the nub theory works. 12w1D is still a little early, but it does look like a girl nub image. There is no boy bump.
You draw a line ON the nub following its direction and then ON the bright white spine line and continue the lines straight out. Your lines would almost cross I think.

The nub would be visible (as a penis) in a potty shot at that gestation. If it's there, it is usually showing that the nub is not pointing up much, so it's more likely to be a girl, not a boy.
I still think girl. Good luck ;)
