What about if you 'combined' Viana with one of your favourites, or pick something you like that sounds similar? Would something like Sienna, Tiana, Gianna or Alana work?

Atomic thanks for the advice, I might want to ask him if there is a nickname for Milan that he might like :).
Yesterday I tried to explain to him why it is so important to me to be the main part in choosing the name because I don't think he realizes what I went through to be were I am now. Hopefully he will be more cooperative now!
Willows girl I wouldn't mind naming our children after giving birth. My plan wS to make a list with our favorites and then choose but there is no such list because he is so stubborn.
Choosing Viana as a second name is a good idea I'll see if he will agree to that. No idea why I didn't think of that myself.
Strawberrymom I already tried that...no luck. I like Nila though!
Bunny I love Tiana and it's very close to Viana but already tried my luck and guess what....he doesn't like it:sad:.
I don't get why I have to to all the work and whenever I fall in love with a name he just says NO.
I'm no help, just wanted to say that I TOTALLY agree, mothers should have the first naming rights after all they go through before AND after the child is born. There is no way I'd compromise on my fave names!
I would suggest that since you are the mom, carrying twins no less, that you should have more pull with the first names, he then can have more pull with second names. Try to have your first names picked before hand so he will maybe try to work a second name out that goes with your picks.

What do you think about Amin, micah is also Nice!
Or vienna?
Viana Vagina...DONE! You can thank me later.
In reality I do sympathize you, but use of humor is my coping mechanism. I couldn't help myself. I do think that if you can get a few friends/family members to say that to your husband, you will soon be back to the drawing board. Good luck love! I do think Milan is super cute.
I also think Milan is super cute. I had a friend in college named Viana. Her parents were Victor and Diana, and they decided to combine those to make her name. I thought it was pretty and she was WAY cool (we met in an automotive repair and technology college.) So, I like that name, but I never thought about how I'd feel about that name if I ever heard it in abstract rather than attached to someone I knew and cared about.
I also like Tiana, Kiana and Rhianna. We might have named DS1 Rhiannon if he'd been a girl.
