Wow what a horrible midwife. That's such a nasty way to treat someone who's pregnant especially when it's her job. What a cow! Hope you're feeling ok today and can get insurance sorted. Lots of hugs to you. Take care. x

I'd use another midwife if possible once your insurance comes through. I'd send her a message too. Ignorant and uncaring unless it's $$$ xx

I'd definately be looking elsewhere for prenatal care. That is unacceptable for her to just ignore you!
My sister had several non-explained bleeds during her pregnancy. She dealt with it better than I did (I've had numerous miscarriages, this was her first pregnancy). He is quite the active 3 year old now.
I hope that baby is still tucked up in there, safe and sound, oblivious to all the worry and commotion s/he is causing mommy. Strong pregnancy tests and symptoms are very positive signs (not to mention lack of cramping!).
Fingers crossed for you.

This really is crazy that she won't return your calls. You have established a patient relationship with this provider and if anything were to happen you could sue the piss out of the practice for not returning your phone calls. Especially since you have bleeding. Do you have any money that you could pay upfront? Often times the price will be different if you offer cash up front. I would go to a planned parenthood or something similar. There are also usually free/low cost clinics associated with University Hospitals or a county hospital that you could go to. I am not sure how Obama care has changed some of these low cost options but there should be something in your area if you dig around a bit. The thing I would be most worrisome is an ectopic pregnancy. Hope you are able to get into see someone soon!!
I bled with my DS1 and this lil guy who is still cooking but all is completely fine w/ both. Both were because of SCH's. I hope you get some answers soon and I agree w/ the other girls...I would definitely be finding different prenatal care!! That is unacceptable to just ignore you - SO heartless!!
Yeah, I'd already decided to switch providers. I was already thinking about it, because with my miscarriage in Nov she didn't follow up at all, no scan to ensure I lost everything, nothing.
The lady at my insurance said she'd process it first thing this morning. they opened 29 minutes ago, so waiting patiently for that call. It looks like I'll be able to see a doc today. Still period like bleeding, no cramps. I'd think it would have started by now if it was a miscarriage..
Glad you will be able to go into today. Fx for you!
Best of luck today x

Noon and still no call :hair: how long does it take to add pregnancy coverage to a case? It's active, open and approved for my kids, all she has to do is add me, half way through the day and she still hasn't gotten to it. First thing in the morning my $*#
