Congratulations!
Went back today as i couldn't get peoples remarks out of my system.
The sweet tech understood and was happy to show me a different angle of girl parts. I have my reassurance now and able to stop worrying.
You all guessed right with the nubthread, love your support during this process ladies!
This is one of the very few places i feel totally safe when it comes to this subject; genderdreams..
:pregnant::hug2: to you all!
That is great...put your mind at ease and one less thing to stress about!!! YAY
Congratulations! I was told girl via my harmony test at 14 weeks, was so happy and shocked. Then doubt crept in lol! Had a scan at 16 weeks. They rescanned me at 17 weeks because i still couldn't believe it! My uk nhs scan at 20 weeks she mentioned "something between the legs" but looks like cord but added"keep the receipts for pink things" all after i told her i had 3 boys! I started worrying again as people also love to tell me stories of gender scans getting it wrong and i don't tell everyone about the DNA testing we got done primarily for trisomy issues as I'm 38. Anyway i had a 4d scans st 28 & 29 weeks and I'm finally starting to believe this could actually be my little girl :) 15 weeks after being first told. It takes a while to sink in, although I'll feel much happier to see her in my arms xx
I totally understand Mrs Incredible, people seem to love to make you doubt or even sad.. As if théy know! Only the techs specialised in gender scans know.
My own tech told me that she often is asked for advice by the hospital because they aren't able to tell gender. After her 20 years of working and experiencing gyno's in hospitals, she now knows they just suck at pointing out gender in scans.
So thát is where people talk about. Specialised techs don't make these mistakes that often..
Well now, you are having a girl! Believe it! Love it!
Big hug, she is in there..:cheerteam:
Update: still a little girl at my 20-week medical scan!
Also, my placenta isn't as high as they like to see( happens all the time), but to be sure they want another scan at 28 weeks. No concerns at all as this will never form a threat to babygirl..
And anóther view at baby at 25 weeks; the tech asked me to ' model' for a symposium where ultrasound techs go to, because i seem to ' scan very clearly'
Haha that is ehm.. Well a hidden skill, lol..
So 2 more looks at her!:running:
So happy for you!!!!
