Claritin is fine if it works for you. It doesn't work at all for my allergies so I've just been sticking with what, in my experience, has worked.

Oh and pseudoephedrine, for those that don't know, is the same stuff in Sudafed. It does dry you up but carries an increased risk of strokes in young women, esp. young women taking blood thinners (like baby aspirin and cran).
