Birth Story:
Due to diabetes the MFM scheduled me for an induction. On 1/19 I checked into the hospital at 4pm. Around 5pm I had a room and by 6pm had the cervix softener. Around 8pm had an epi. The silly resident poked me twice while the doctor poked me once. Neither one of them was able to bring me any pain relief. I spoke to my nurse and made sure they didn't send those bozo's back into my room. Another doctor came and within 10 mins of him coming into the room I was on cloud nine. No pain. At midnight I was still about 4. I stayed at a 4 all throughout the night and into the next day. No progress. Finally the nurse who started this journey with me was back on duty. I explained to her what happened after she left. It was about 7am. She called the OB on call. They upped my pit and by 8:34 am my baby was born. My MFM hardly had any time to put his scrubs on. He did have to cut me since the baby was stuck. Her shoulders made it difficult for her to come out along with my narrow canal. Once she was safe and sound in my arms I breathed a sigh of relief. Finally I had my baby girl with me.
