Hi Atomic, I'm on my 2nd round of clomid and today will be my last pill...do I start the e4d now and go through when I'm sure I ovulated? My first round of clomid I got my peak the evening of CD13 so I'm assuming I ovulated the evening of CD14...should I time the e4d to be on the day of my Peak ovulation test (which would be CD13?) or does it even matter how close to ovulation with ed?
Also, I have not done the cardio for this whole cycle :( have I messed up the sway? Will it raise my testosterone if I start exercising for this week until my ovulation in about 8 days? OR should i just cont with no cardio this cycle? I also weigh about 2 pounds more this cycle than the previous....should I try to lose those 2 pounds by cutting out some carbs and more salads? I've been living primarily on lots of white carbs.
Is it more beneficial to eat less during Ovul weeK
thanks again!Jenn

Yes! Even if that means going all the way through till NEXT AF!!!
Do not try to time your BD to come out on a certain day. Just try to put it out of your mind as much as possible. We oftentimes outsmart ourselves trying to BD on a day we imagine will be the best odds of conception when in reality we may have been better off the day before or the day after and keeping that element of luck involved prevents that from happening.
I honestly don't know if skipping the cardio or starting it now is better. It is just one of those crystal ball questions that I can't say for sure. What I do know is that exercise has had such consistently good results that I do tend to have people err on the side of starting it instead of skipping it any more, just because it's been so good for so long that it totally outweighs the (entirely imaginary, never proven at all) idea that short bursts of cardio raise testosterone and sway blue. Honestly, we don't even know that testosterone sways blue anyway!
If your BMI is 21 or below then I'd hold steady. If it's more than that I'd try to drop the 2 lbs just because. Don't go overboard though as dieting right before O may delay it.
No, it's not beneficial to eat less before O and in fact may harm your sway by delaing or stopping ovulation. If doing anything for a week before could do anything, we'd only do diet for a week!! Plus, we know for a fact that people who dieted (even when very very strict) for only 2-4 weeks before conception had much lower results than those who dieted much less intensely for 12 weeks or more and this would not be the case if there was any benefit to last minute strictness!
