Folic acid, how much are you taking ?

ug for folic acid IS micrograms (mcg). They're the same thing when it comes to folic/folate. ug and mcg are the same

Thank you so much, Phew panic over .. I picked up Vit D today in boots that was in UD asked them to convert in mg and they didn’t know ! I googled it to find out it wasn’t the right dosage... but that doesn’t convert as the same like the folic acid one does ... very confusing ��

I am also taking 400 per tablet

Vit D, for some reason, is measured in IU "international units" and so that is what I have you guys use.

1000 IU. NOT MG

Those of you taking Folate, what brands are good? I want to switch to folate, after a recent miscarriage as Atomic recommended it! Right now, I’m taking 6 of the 400mg folic acid pills, spread through the day. I want this next one to stick, although a girl would be pretty rad, considering I have 4 boys! So, I’m not swaying blue. Just found this thread when I searched for folate!

I took Solgar brand Folate in 800mcg. I think it also comes in 400mcg as well.

I'm also taking Solgar brand folate 1000ug x2 daily. My local health food shop ordered them in for me. They usually stock the 400ug one but not 1000ug but was no prob to order in.
