I have to try to come to terms that I will never have a daughter. I never saw my life without one. And now to live it, I feel incomplete and lost without her. It is not easy to surrender. Perhaps it was meant to be this way. But for now it’s really really hard. I think I will never feel complete but at the same time I need to be grateful for all that I have. I need to work on that now. And just let go.
FWIW I have found that most people do overcome their gender desire (even people with very severe gender disappointment) and go on to live very happy and fulfilled lives. Somehow the possibility makes it cut so much deeper than when the option is really removed from the table. I wish everything good in the world for you, Pink.
