Distractions are good! I agree Lillian is precious!!!!
Thanks auroara! You are so sweet!! I feel good about my sway too b/c I wouldn't have changed a thing. This baby is truly meant to be....boy or girl!!
I'm sure this baby is a boy and symptom wise the only reason is bc my face isn't breaking out as bad as last time, I think I'm just protecting myself from gd
The whole potty shot was driving me crazy so I hunted to find what it looked like. I found this thread and it looked just like this one:
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ultr...results-2.html
That one picture with the big bump on the leg looks like mine too (minus the obvious nub that my pics are missing) so that makes me feel a lot better. I was so convinced that was the nub when I first posted my pics.
So will you be finding out soon? I had an elective at 16 weeks. I couldn't take it lol
I have my next appt. on Tuesday and they will schedule it then. I found out with both boys at 16 weeks so I am going to try to get an appt. for maybe Nov. 2. I have to be very strategic with DH...he wants to stay team green so I don't want him to go with me!!
Hahha beachy. How come he doesnt want to know?
Yeah my dh wanted it to be a surprise so he didn't go. He knows I know. Cant wait to hear!
I think a potty shot like the one she posted could go either way. There are not girl or boy signs and with her only being 12 weeks that is sooo early. Her profile nub shots were clearly very girly though. My girl at 13 weeks still was pointy down there.
Ooo Nov 2, that's right around the corner! :)
It is kind of my fault!!!! For a few reasons, I wanted to go team green this time because 1) I had bad GD with DS2 and DH didn't get it. I had to fake being happy and it was just SO hard. I don't want to go through that again... 2) If it is a boy, I don't want to hear it from everyone about how we will have a ball team, etc and all the boy comments that drive me mad. And now, he is really set on not finding out.
I still do feel like it is prob. a boy, but something in my gut says to not give up yet. IDK....I figure this is a good place to be in anyways b/c I am already getting used to the idea of boy #3 and the kids are so excited about a name i picked out...they want a brother anyways.
So, I am going to go into this with a win/win attitude and who knows what the future will hold!!!!
I'm not convinced this is a boy. If that I'd the nub it looks more like a girl.
Don't give up yet! xxxx
I know the skull theory but I have no clue what the 'nub' is...can someone please tell me!? lol
Does anyone want to give any skull guesses? I am so bad with those....
As you requested I drew on your pic to show you what I was seeing... Im leaning towards boy because I see a line with a stacked up look on top which is very common in boys at this stage. I had a pic of my last son at 13 weeks that looks just like this. It's supposed to be a scrotal bump. I have seen it over it over. Im not seeing much that would indicate girl but the pics are not the best and thats why im only leaning boy. I agree with lovemy4 with the 80% chance at a boy. I do hope you hear girl though!!!! Im rooting for you!!!

love-my-kids~ isnt that high for the nub? I thought it was underneath that. I don't know how to circle. What do you have a program to do that?
No not for a boy at 13+ weeks. Their nub will be higher with a stacked up poking up look.
So the nub is what you circled, not the two straight white lines like half an inch below your circle?
No the lines under are not the nub..... looks like a scrotal bump and pointed up nub.
here is a pic of my now 2 year old son to compare. I was 13 weeks and 2 days.

I need to stop guessing on nubs then!
and my dd at 13 weeks. as you can see it's still up high but flat and long which is to be expected for a 13 week female.

This one reminds me a lot of yours. She was 13 weeks as well.
(potty shot was 18 weeks)

Funny you just posted that. I just went and looked at that exact picture(in response #101) and saw how high it is (but angled down). On NC's pics what throws me off is the two lines below. Yours is clearly a nub!
blue is cord and yellow the nub.

Oh right sorry, and thank you
Actually it looks like my one of my babies ultra sound, i was having a look at the boys pics see if i could tell from theirs (although obviously i know they are boys - have seen the bits in person) but i couldn't see a nub in there although it appears that girl nubs are quite obvious?????
Well boys can sometimes be tricky if you don't know what your looking for since they can be sticking straight up or have a line which is the scrotal bump and many mistake as a girl nub. Girls are normally longer and sticking straight out so they can be easier to see.
Thank you love my kids!!!! I do see what you are saying and I feel like the nail in the coffin is that you can't see a girl nub. If this is a girl, it seems there would be something seen in at least one of my pictures.
I did see that area you circled when I was looking at my pics, but I thought that was the leg. In the pic below, I had asked lovemy4 about the cord insertion site and she said there was no nub in the pic at all. So, I had discounted that little bump thing. So did the tech on babycenter.
IDK...boy #3 looking more and more..

i think both of your last 2 pics show the same thing and when you posted the one with that was circled in red the actual nub was covered up. good luck mama!!!
I have no idea what or where the nub is but I am still holding out hope that this is your DD! You REALLY deserve it and I want this so bad for you :HH: I know you will love this baby just as you do your 2 boys and this baby is lucky to have you as his/her mama...You can always join me for HT next year, I can wait for you and we can be cycle buddies again ;)
I could be 100% wrong! I am no tech! Just sharing what I think. Im so rooting for a little girl for you!!!!! Fingers crossed!!!!!
I couldn't have pulled through without you, and I will be here to pull you through with this little beautiful soul :HH:
I swear I am done obesessing, but l just wanted to come back and update. I asked the tech on babycenter about the pic you circled luvmykids and the last pic I attached with the cord insertion site.
She said she wasn't convinced that was a nub in the circled area and she said that last pic below had no nub in it so she didn't think any nubs were present in my pics.
I have a dr. appt tomorrow and then will have my u/s scheduled so I can finally get the answer!!
that lady on the u/s board on babycenter drives me nuts! i had like 10 very clear pics of my daughter with 3 lines and she kept saying she couldn't say girl because it wasn't boy or girl parts. i was so upset i wrote the people that did the ultrasound and they had me come back in the next day and re-did it and got the same pics again and acted like she was crazy. then i posted those and asked if they were better and she said no. i was shocked. her legs were wide open and you could tell 100% for sure it was a girl.
can't wait to hear your date!!!!!!
LOL Lovemykids, remind me never to post my pics on baby center when I have some. that would drive me nuts!
