She said boy , I didn't get any new potty shots to show you guys just a refund , my partner isn't convinced , says he ain't buying nothing till baby's born lol . The tech said she could see why the last tech thought girl but said at 18 weeks the labia wouldn't look "that swollen" . Baby wasn't really up for playing either , so I am getting boy no3 by the looks of it xxx

I don't want to obsess anymore than I have , I didn't see a penis I saw the thick lines of the same length , but I'm just gonna take it as boy and mention it to as few people as I have too and just get confirmation again in 2 weeks at my 20 week hospital scan xx
Was it a kinda Irish woman who done your scan mrs ? Xx
It was an older woman with an accent, but don't think it was Irish, I'll need to ask dh. Rescan was a younger, quite bubbly lady, but Scottish. Was it the Irish woman who did your rescan today?
I cant believe this happened. Or why the first sonographer didn't just get you back for a rescan. They told me they only say if they're sure or its a free rescan. There was a couple in when i went for my rescan who were told 80% girl, but were coming back in 2 weeks for confirmation.
DS2 and DS3 were very obvious boy at 16 weeks.

The womN that told me girl was the young bubbly Scottish one , this woman I had today needed help to use the computer at the start ... I'm sure she had a Irish twang some sort of twang anyway . She said baby had it's legs closed and thought girl right away then fiddled about amd said boy for one image girl for the other , sent me away for half hour told me to drink something sugary , went back and it was quite busy she took one look and said yep sorry it's a boy there's the penis but I didn't see anything I just wanted to come home to be honest wish I just never bothered finding out lol wasn't this awkward with my sons scans xx
I'm so sorry this happend! It suchs you didn't get a good potty shot now! What do you have to believe. Hope you get clear vision at 20 wks
I'm a lot more relaxed about it now to be honest , i was expecting boy right up until that 16 week gender scan it will be great having a boy for my 9 month old son and I'm only 25 so plenty of time to have more wee ones (touch wood I stay lucky) . Xx
Damn, not feeling so confident about mine now :( Although they backed up what harmony said and I did get her to show me a few times at the rescan, and neither of them hesitated when saying girl. 8 more sleeps until my 20 week scan ... xxx
The Scottish woman never hesitated with mine either but that Irish woman went from girl boy girl boy till she settled with boy, which just confused me and lost trust to be honest .if the hospital tell me boy I'll believe that it is boy xx oh not long to go now for you xx

I'm settling on boy for now and if I get told girl at my 20 week one I'm buying white lol x it's been different this pregnancy aswell like little things I'm craving more fruit not much of appetite not much weight gain tummy high up with my boys I was eating everything in site was constantly hungry and my tummy was low and pointy the babies heart rate last week was 162 aswell I know there all old wives tales though x do you feel different this time? Xx
I emailed that place and asked if it would be possible for them to email me the up to date potty shots they got to show you all xx
After your experience I'd be really worried if it went for the harmony! Now I'm just slightly worried xx

Based on the nub shots, and that one weird "could be a penis" shot, and today, I would go forth believing boy, and if at 20 weeks you hear girl get the surprise of your life. I am so sorry they did this to you. I certainly hope the woman who gave you the girl the first time had to review what to look for in ultrasounds, because this is completely unacceptable. Hugs to you.

Thanks guys yeh I'm settled on boy now, although I told the woman I had been on here and looked at thousands of us pics and she said "you probably know more than me" my hubby reminded me of her saying that just now lol . Mrs I wouldn't worry my aunt was in later today she's had her 20 us already and was told girl only went today at 23 weeks for gender just to be sure and she told her girl xxx
Forgot to say the woman phoned me and said we don't do photos of the baby's sex , I said well there on disc from the last one I had she said , well there not supposed to be on there , what's the big deal about giving out potty shots? Xx
If I'm going for a gender scan I want potty shots!
Guess maybe to prevent ppl from looking and they need to rescan every time! LOL.
Maybe they should do a better job then next time!
I think it might just be that company that doesn't do it , when are you getting your scan sweet x

I said the same thing to them! Wish I'd gone to babybond again like I did with my 2nd and 3rd pregnancies. Plus I'd have left with a little pink bag, instead of the blue bag I got the other 2 times. It was half the price of babybond tho and I wanted the hd live peak. I really hope our babies cooperate at the 20 week scan :) xx ps hope you stay on here now. Have you updated ig post?Quote:

The same thing happend to me 16 weeks I was told girl by a private gender scan place then at my 20 weeks bam a boy lol...i think my next go round I'll be team green to avoid all that again:)
I'd have negotiated a free hd live scan, least they could do!!
Getting banned is a bit harsh :( Did you do an ig sway? The girls here are lovely :) We all know how frustrated and disappointed you must feel with all the uncertainty. Being told you were having your dd and then not is pretty devastating. You sound quite positive which is a credit to you!
I'm close to Motherwell but didn't know they had a scan place. I went to Livingston babybond before for gender scans. Also been to babes in the womb in Edinburgh and another place in Stirling. Well travelled :) xx

They all think I was a bit cheeky because they said boy but it wasn't it was how it was said to me that upset me I'm kinda taking everything to heart just now everything had calmed down then few days later one woman from here told the one from IG I was over here saying this and that I told the woman I posted this while the heated argument was going on but all my posts got deleted and I got banned , not fussed anyway I'm happy here , no I never done a sway , I see you did one? I struggle to make out all the short ways to write things and the wee pictures I'll need to learn lol . I told dh we will do the special diets etc and have our last when were in our early 30s he would love a girl it's all boys on his side . Yeh mrs I defo seen one in Motherwell it was online I looked because I was going to go to a different gender place before I called bs back xx
Sorry you didn't hear girl. Will be waiting on your 20 week scan. I think it is weird they don't do potty shots? I have had two 15 week scans and both times they gave me great potty shots. Hope the rest of your pregnancy is very uneventful!!
Oh gosh! I was sorry to read this waking up this morning - especially after I already said go buy pink! You are taking it all so graciously though! I can't believe there is still so much uncertainty. Ultrasound isn't 100% obviously but this is going like a 50/50 ball game. Big hugs! In all honesty I was such a blubbering mess after I found out about DS3. But he is the coolest little dude! That's him in my avatar. :). I thought I was getting another one the same but he is so different to his brothers. He was 2.7kg born at 41 weeks, and still so small for his age and he has such a cheeky little personality now! He's 13 months and he dances and plays peek a boo, and blows raspberries on any bare skin he can find. I honestly love being a Mum of 3 little boys and I'm sure you will too :) or whatever it turns out to be in the end! Hang around here and maybe you could do a sway next time. My dream used to be 2 girls and 2 boys. Now it's 3 boys with a little sister :). I'm more excited about this one anyway xxx

Thanks covered in blue , I have woke up this morning though feeling a little different like lost in a way . That's cute about your boy x he sounds lots of fun reminds me of my 9 month old the way you described him x I love my sons my oldest is 8 and thinks he's too cool for everything and this little man just makes me laugh constantly he follows me around saying my mama , I love him so much he was my gift from the angels when I lost my mum . You know when I found out I was pregnant again I prayed everyday to my mum "let it be a girl plz plz" and then to be told girl to be told boy how unlucky is that I'm blessed to be able to have babies but I mean the situation this time has been so rubbish it's like someone is messing with my head for fun. Everyone els sounded really disapointed when I told them boy it's all boys on both sides no grand daughters yet , I'm really not thinking straight this morning is there still hope for pink ? Xxx

I'm sooooo annoyed today!!!! I'm dreading going to pick my boy up from school as all the mums and dads think I'm having a girl ... :nono:
