Mum, I have one and people judge in here, especially family that only think at money. Can you imagine I had to buy a house for the unborn baby just to be assured he will have a good life?:)))
I cant even think at the second what they would say..especially if it's still a boy.
People judge A LOT! But dont panik!
I already thought how I will tell my family for the second...I will tell them when I will find out the gender.

Wow, those are dark. This was mine from DPO 9, light test is FMU, second darker one is, well, SMU lolAttachment 19724

OMG!!! Maybe???
It is weird how dark mine were, but yours are still very positive! 😀👍
I must say my dark tests are the only thing keeping me sane right now!! I'm so paranoid of another loss but just keep reminding myself of the dark tests!!! I've been having AF type cramping and every time I go to the loo, I'm sure I'll be bleeding. I'm not sick at all and my boobs were sore but aren't now, which scares me. It's so hard to be relaxed after a m/c! 😕
-
Congratulations mumofsix!!! How exciting!!
-
Yeah, I've been testing daily and kinda freaked my lines aren't darkening, but then I switched to internet cheapies so I'm hoping it's just how much less sensitive they are. Think I'll pick up another FRER today just to ease my mind. It's weird, the mix of happy and dread pregnancy after miscarriage brings. I catch myself trying not to be hopeful :(
-
I felt the same after my MC when pregnant again. Paranoid at every niggle. It is most likely the uterus just adjusting and with those dark lines you must have high pregnancy hormones so it's most likely a keeper. Try to focus on that (easier said than done I know!)
-
Hah, so yeah, definitely just my paranoia..took an FRER after 1 hour hold been guzzling water all day because I've been super dehydrated, line showed up nice and bright before the control line even and like twice as dark. Lesson to be learned here? Internet test strips are crap. SMU which is always darker for me this morning with a net strip was faintly positive and has been for like 4 days.
-
Yeah my internet tests are still practically negative!!! I a line does come up it is so faint. I keep testing with the FRERs I have too just to make sure! Lol!! 😜

Yay!! Congrats Mum!!!

lol Makes me feel better I'm not the only one foolishly continuing to test. I'm still temping too. Gonna be a long 2 months to the mostly-safe zone. I think I'll relax more if I see a heart beat though, so maybe some relief around 4 weeks from now. I think 8 weeks would be a safe bet to for sure see it.
-
I've never temped but if I had I would still be too! Lol!! And yep, at 8 weeks you should a heartbeat. 💜
I just wish I would have some symptoms! I did have sore boobs but I don't now and nothing else!!! I've also had cramping but praying it's just "normal". Still waiting to see blood every time I go to the loo. Wish this first 12 weeks would hurry up! I know it's still no guarantee after then, but I could relax a little I think. 😕

Mumofsix...how old are your boys if you don't mind me asking?
-
DS1 is 16 today. Then 12, the twins are 7, Mitchell is 4 and Cayden is 2. 😊❤️
-
Mumofsix - I always wanted to ask u something if you don't mind. As far as diet and lifestyle, temperament etc..goes, was it alwayd boy friendly for u?
-
What are your twins names? Mine are Matteo and Elliot.
Congrats Unwirklich. What a gorgeous profile pic. Hopefully you can have a wee girl snuggled in there too in 9 months time.
I used to always think there would be blood too everytime I went to the loo but there never was. Someone I knew called it Panty Patrol. That made me laugh a bit
-
The twins are Joshua & Zachary. 😊
I don't mind you asking at all odd - wish I had an easy answer or "magic bullet" that got me 6 boys but I don't really...
With DS1, I was young. Was smoking & drinking occasionally. Lots of BD as we were young and full of energy! Lol!!! Was vegetarian and played netball & very tiny (Aus size 6 even the day before birth!).
DS2- was working full time, no exercise, wasn't vegetarian but pretty healthy diet. BD once but wasn't keeping track (did say let's BD I want a baby tonight!)
Twins- was working as a PT & group fitness instructor so constant exercise both weights and classes. Very healthy diet. We're thinking about swaying the Sheetles way so was cutting down caffeine and making small changes but got PG quicker than expected.
DS5- still working as a PT. Weekend drinks, frequent BD.
DS6- working as a PT but not taking classes so reduced exercise, working at several
Gyms though so really busy, stressed due to family/parent issues. Frequent BD. Really healthy diet but was dieting, so low cals.
So I guess, the frequent BD (except for DS2) and healthier diet was a factor?? Exercise was different with them all, was vege with DS1?? I do have a more "boy type" personality though. I wear the pants in our family and I'm not at all a girly girl!! Lol!!
Will have to post my sway for this pg but scared too as after I did last time I had a m/c and do to want to "jinx" it again. 😕

My HPT is getting darker still!! 😊👍
-
Mumof6 - is your 2 year old a december baby?
-
DPO 20, and my net strip is just now as dark as the control line. lol Conception indicator said 2-3 weeks yesterday so hcg between 200-2000

Hi! Thanks for asking Mrs_Incredible... I am ok I guess...don't feel pregnant at all though! The slight sore boobs and nausea I had is long gone and I have nothing.
It's hard to even remember I'm pregnant!
-
Enjoy it while it lasts! This last pg was rough from 7- 14 weeks and it sucked!! Xx

Mum, so now you are 4 weeks ? Ohhh, are you thinking in doing the blood test at 7 weeks to find out earlier?
-
I'm 5 weeks now! 😊 Unfortunately the test isn't offered in Australia.
-
It is...there is a place in Brisbane that does it.
-
-
And I know some who had it done in Sydney for $700 but not sure where?
-
Hi mum, u can have the test done in Oz. The one I had done can be done at 9 weeks, I actually think a GP can also do a referral to a pathology place, but my obstetrician referred me. I waited til 12 weeks to have it (apparently it gets more accurate the further along you are). You might have to ring a few path places/labs in your area to see if they have the kits then they can tell you who to get a referral from. I think you have to be at least 35 when bub is delivered or be classified as high risk, otherwise u pay all of it out of pocket and it can be expensive. That's what I understand xo
-
My friend just had it done at 10weeks she is in Melb :)
-
What test are you girls talking about?

I paid £650 for the harmony test, it's only been available in the uk for a couple of years. I got it done at 12+5 once my NHS scan showed baby growing well. I'll Be 39 when bubs arrives. I got it for peace of mind health wise. It checks for trisomies and some other things too, as well as gender x

Uau. Pretty expansve in UK.
My friend payed for it 1000€ for it in January and now I asked my clinic. They said 700€. With much more they appear on the market, the least expansive will be.
Aoii, this is the blood test that can be made at 7-8 weeks of pregnancy and it will tell you about any risk anomaly of the baby and also the gender of the baby.
The gender is 100%. All the other tests are 99% accurant.
Mum, you will have a girl. I believe in that :-)
