Amazing August 2WW Thread

I am also on the petit side, eat small meals but I guess I are very boy friendly foods. My last boy I know was a 1 attempt, but I remember having a lot of stretchy fertile mucous that morning. I knew nothing about swaying back then.

Onto cycle 11 now and still persisting with LE as I really want a girl. Thanks for sharing.

I basically lived on cereal, flavoured milks, cereal bars for snacks, salad and lots of red meat, more red than chicken. Pasta maybe, once a week and not much potatos. Lived on tea, no sugar all day. No soda and very rarely did I have alcohol.

Hope you have a boy on board. X thanks for sharing.

After 2 days of positive opks, I woke up in the middle of the night with the strongest cramps!!! Like af type cramps but maybe worse.

This lasted for about half an hour and I managed to fall back to sleep. Now its morning, the cramping has vanished.

Do you think this was some kind of bad ovulation cramps? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I had this last night jennypenny and was wondering the same, I have never had this before either, I wondered if it was, on my part, psychosomatic, as I have heard people talk about ovulation pain? It passed but just in time for my children to wake repeatedly through the night, exhausted.com!

This was a weird cramping pain that woke me up from my sleep, v strange. I have had mild cramp feels before when ovulating but never like that.

Oh well will see how it goes today.
Just changed my progesterone blood test to next Monday even though I will be 8dpo it will hopefully be more accurate than 5 dpo (friday) x

Am due to go in for my blood draw on Friday, am away for a few days after that, I will only be dpo 5 as well. What would be wrong with going at that point? Will it just show low progesterone? Which may indicate I have not o'ed when I might have? What would gp do if it looked like I had low progesterone/ not o'ed? I really have no opportunity to go in before Wednesday next week.

I'm sure it will be fine for 5 dpo too, I just wanted to leave it to 8dpo as I usually start spotting early and want to see if the results reflect why this is maybe happening.

I feel like I have learned so much about fertility i didnt know about while swaying. I wish I had studied this hard at uni hahaha! !

5dpo should be ok to know if you have ovulated. Last cycle I had a test at 3dpo and my levels were what they expect to see at 7dpo so it defiantly showed I had ovulated.

Pink pony- my mother was also on the very petite side and had two boys and then me...her 'dream' daughter ( I think 28 years later I don't fit that description anymore lol) so it is possible and I want to give you lots of hope! My mom has a boy mom personality for sure and still managed to 'sway' but ultimately she did not excersise or anything like that as she didn't know about the kind of swayimg this site knows about now.

For her I think it was more luck. She had a tubal reversal and it took over a year to get pregnant with me, she said she made my dad switch to boxers from briefs and she used shettles timing of course which we now know holds little merit.. But fairly certain the tubal reversal and unknowingly 1-2 attempts in her fertile period max is probably what got her me. I also know at the time they were very poor and so she wanted her boys to eat so se often went without eating. Not that anyone would recommend that but I think it just helps verify the LE diet is probably even what she unknowingly used, just an extreme version heh

Ovulation pain might be different for everyone but personally O pain to me isn't cramping it's like sharp twinges right where you would expect your left or right ovary to be. They can be really intense and I've cried through some of mine (but I also get cysts!) but I've never had ovulation cramping... I did have quite a bit of cramping even some that woke me up the night I think this baby implanted though!

Darn my pain was nothing like that, could have been anything. Too early for implantation! X

I think some women say they cramp as the egg moves through the tube and uterus so that is also possible

It was so short lived the pain! My mind and body are just making up symptoms now!

So when doing e3d's or e4d's, when does the 2 ww start? I take it you just expect af as normal, so technically am in 2 ww wait now but am still attempting! How are things burakoam?

Been trying to keep up but I've been so busy, by the time I read everyones posts I have no time to comment. Lol. I have not caught up on today's reading!

Had a quick question:
Don;t know if I should bother testing tomorrow now. My temp dipped this morning, which I think is super weird cause I am on 600 mg of prometrium! AF does NOT come until I have quit for 3-4 days!

I had tests and couldn't help myself, I got bfns at 10 dpo and 12 dpo so I thought it was pointless--but then I looked back at my last pregnancy (and my other daughter) and at 18 dpo I was only at 95 miu on my beta. I went onto a doubler calculator, and I would have only been around 11 miu on 12 dpo with her (and I got a SUPER faint and 2 bfns the same day about 18 dpo with my other daughter). When I tested yeaterday it was midday withonly a 1 hour hold using a FRER digi.

I was hoping to surprise DH with a bfp on his bday tmrw, but I think I'm out.

Can you please look at my chart and tell me if its worth testing again tomorrow? I will be 14 dpo then. I figured maybe I would decide based on my temp in the morning--if its back up test, and if not quit the progesterone. You think?

Oh and I think my O date is correct, I had sharp o pains that day. I dont think I o'd 2 days later even tho the spike wasn't a spike initially at all. FF couldn't decide, I tried all 3 tuning methods, and suck with this one cause i felt it was the right one.

Hey girly, 7 dpo is the best day to do the test because if you have an lp defect it may not be apparent earlier. I've had to do it so many times, my RE insisted on 7 dpo specificly. Just throwing it out here.

XX your chart looks good, so maybe this is the month?

Lily- it is possible you ovulated a day or two later than your O pains so that could put you on the running to be a day or two behind what you think you are I would stay on the progesterone a bit longer and the temp dip could be a good sign especially since it seems to be 2 days off from what you initially thought :) so I'd wait two more days test again and then stop if it's still negative

SweetLily- I think your chart looks good! I would test in the morning of your temp spikes back up. If it doesn't, then AF may be on the way [emoji20]. I have my FX for you!!

AFM- I'm trying to not get my hopes up! I'm just happy to see a normal looking chart while breastfeeding! I just keep reflecting on my eating habits, and while I've done fabulous sticking to the limits even on the days I may have a 4th smallish meal (only when DS3 breastfeeds more than usual), I still feel like it's not enough. I'm hoping my body is still recovering from giving birth but who knows! Nothing short of starving myself (just kidding!!), I just don't think my body can ever produce a girl [emoji20]. But we do make awfully cute and awesome boys so there is that [emoji4]!

i believe in you hubby, but im sure you do make cute and awesome little boy...my girls are pretty awesome too :) was so worried id have awful gender disappointment with my 3rd daughter and she is the absolute light of my life. She has been an easy happy baby from the start..and that must have been the way it was planned. -shrugs-...i am hoping you will join us in the DDC soon and this is your girl :)

I'm on 4 dpo and have basically stopped my sway. I don't think we got lucky this month, but, that's ok because I am thinking about stopping swaying altogether and actually stopping TTC. Just feeling overwhelmed 90% of the time and I think I may be one and done.

Not really having any symptoms like I did with my pregnancy (chemical). Just headache and fatigue. A bit of mild cramping.

Xxforhubby the chart is looking super, is there even an implantation dip about dpo 5. I am so hoping this is your month, what a turn around that would be from leaving trying for another to bfp! Your boys are so cute!

We attempted last night I had a massive temp spike this morning but ds2 was up at half 3 until after five. Exhausted does not cover it, I took temp at half six as usual but dont think it is accurate. My dd has a play date with her school friend, my mum is up to look after the boys I might fall asleep at the play place! X

Sending hugs, this trying for a baby, in particular swaying is such a difficult process. All that effort and maybe not the outcome you want anyway, your not out yet, lots of ladies have no symptoms in the 2 ww and are pregnant, I have had lord's of symptoms and not been!

My 3 year old son just told me "You're pregnant! With a girl!" 😂

Wow, lissastick!! That's awesome! I hope he's right! :) I'm sorry you're having a hard time with swaying. It's a very difficult process to say the least.

So, after having another miscarriage, I decided to find a new doctor. I have an appointment with a new RE today. I'm not sure if I should be seeing an RE or a MFM/perintologist doctor but I need to start somewhere. I was able to get in asap, which is nice. I hope it's the right kind of doctor! FX everything goes well and he can help me stay pregnant. I think the cardio is the hardest part of swaying for a girl, lol!! I definitely have to take August off but needed a place to chat. Is it ok if I hang out here?

Momamia- of course you can join us! I've been thinking about you and am glad to get an update!

CD1 for me, which is typical when I'm stressed. We have more packing to do to be completely ready to move by Saturday. Hopefully I get pregnant soon while DH is committed to TTCing. We are going to do E3D this cycle and I'm kicking around using a sperm friendly lube if I need one to help things along. Other than that, I'll keep truckin' along!

Glad to have your company momamia4, drat about cd1 xxforhubby, I will probably be joining you in September anyway! am so exhausted today as my two year old decided half three was a good time to wake and have a party, of course when he decided he was tired at 6 am he went to sleep but I had to get up with the other two at 6:30am. The man slept on until 10 am. Sometimes I question my sanity wanting another one! X

I had recrecirrebt mcs and did a detox and got a sticky bean. Fwiw.

I got a bfn this mornine with fmu and I'm 14 dpo. I just do t feel it. My temps didn't dip more, they were.1 higher so flat lines now. Not sure if I should wait 2 more days just in case or give in. I think give up.

I will not ttc august, I will spend it on all the awful boy sway supps my nature path has me on to clean my health then ttc September.

Will be watching yiu all!!!

I'm not worried about my LP. This always happens when I'm stressed. It will be back to normal next cycle.

I can't afford to skip any months, so while I'm nervous about TTCing during the months I got pregnant with my boys, I have to trust in the LE diet and exercise to carry me through! I'll stay strict for sure!

I've heard a lot of stories about kids telling you the gender snd being right.

And my weirdness, when I was pregnant last time my dog knew before I did. She kept shoving her nose in my butt and smelling me. She'd never done that before. She did it for about a month before she quit being interested in my new scent. Lol!

Hey girls! Feeling sort of bummed/confused. This is my third cycle on Clomid and we BD twice, at what I thought was O-1 (laid down for 20 mins after BD) and O-3 (J&D). However, I can't confirm if I ever even ovulated as my temps have been ALL over the place this month due to work travel and waking up 3-4 hours earlier than normal. SO annoying.

I got 3 high days, then 4 peak days?!? Normally it's only 2 of each. I had EWCM throughout all 4 peak days and my last high day which seems bizarre to me. I think I might have ovulated yesterday (but could have been today too?), which is a day (or 2) later than it should have been but who knows. I had to leave for a work trip the day after we had our last attempt so I couldn't even try for another attempt :-/ So frustrated! Last month I got pregnant (chemical) with 1 attempt at positive OPK, which was O-1 (confirmed via temps). So our attempt this month was either O-2 or O-3, which makes me SO nervous being on the Clomid. I really would have preferred O-1!

I am feeling so discouraged. I've been doing LE and daily exercise for over 7 months and I am just so over it all. With this being my third month on Clomid plus having had a chemical last month I was really hoping this would be our month. I know only time will tell of course but not feeling too positive at the moment.

I made the mistake of telling DH that I think I ovulated late and he was not happy. The first thing out of his mouth was that we should have had more attempts!! (he's been saying that for months now as he does NOT like this swaying stuff even though we had a chemical on 1 attempt last month!). If we don't get pregnant this round I am going to have to play it very careful next month around what I communicate to him about my ovulation timing as I know he will be insistent at that point that we have more than 2 attempts. UGH.

Anyway, thanks for reading my vent. I am so thankful that we have one another to talk to as I would otherwise feel so alone in this process!
