Flava: I am so sorry, hun. I can say I know EXACTLY how you feel. I did get preg with my son right after a m/c, so I think it may be different for everyone. But, like Lola said....you have to be happy with that chance of a girl with every cycle.

I am 6dpo and not really having any symptoms. I have been really, really tired, but it has been a busy weekend. Last month, when I had the chem, I had tons of cm and I have had a lot this time, too. Just trying not to get my hopes up...then I may want to test.
t's Official, DD is going to be a big sister! I peed on a First response this morning and got a faint line. SO I rushed out to get a digital...and there it was in plain sight!!! I called DH at work, I was so excited. I said I hate that I am telling you on the phone...and he said OMG I would have killed you if you waited! He was sooo happy! I cried and cried!! I can't wait for him to get home so I can make out with him!! I am sooo excited!!!!! SOOOOOO EXCITED!!! We are taking family picutes next week and I am going to make a sign for DD to hold that says "big sister" and then give them to our family when we are ready to tell!!!! I am so stunned I got a BFP at 10DPO....It took me being 20 days late with DD..I haven't even missed my AF yet! WE aren't telling anyone till I am 12 weeks since we had such a big scare with DD in the beginning...OF course I worry about that again, but I am just going to enjoy this!!

No, we didn't DTD at all this cycle. No chance of a pregnancy. It is okay, I am feeling better, I am trying to move on and get excited about this next cycle.Quote:

Hobbs, I hear ya girl. But, there is no magic or good month, don't think of it that way. Just gear up for next month and try to shake it off. Sometimes the stars just don't align to dtd right when we want to, and now you can keep up with swaying stuff in the 2ww and have a super good sway in 4 weeks or so. :kiss:

Well, I'm off the drugs, because there is no point in me taking them since I'm not the one with the problem. It's just au naturel cycles for us now. I am hoping that in another few cycles, once my DH has a fresh load of new sperm in there that have been grown since he's taken the super vitamins. (You know it takes 72 days for new sperm.) I'm clinging to that hope at least.

Flava - When I mc at 7 1/2 wks I was told to skip 1-2 cycles, I'd skip Oct and go for Nov :)
Lola- You're not a lost cause at all, save some of that pep and positivity for yourself!
Hobber- Sorry this month went to crap, don't loose your faith in your sway or you'll be regretting bigger if you hear girl. FX things will work out for next month :)

I am new here and I read here in this thread that DTD on O-2 and on O gets more sperms in the crypts.
I am also trying for boy starting in October and until I saw this website I was under the impression that we need to DTD only on ovulation day.
Can someone tell me more about this getting spermies in the crypts theory?

Hey BluePuppy, Welcome! There are a ton of stickies with info in the TTC BOY section of the gender swaying forum. :) THere is an entire essay on timing. You can DTD one time on O day if you wish, but some people choose to DTD a few more times to add to the stored up sperm. I got two girls DTD only once, and a son from lots of BD, so I am going for a few times (at least two) this time around with my sway.
Lola, sorry for the BFN. I think you are smart not to keep testing. Try to keep your mind off of things! Have I ever toldyou about the family I grew up with who thought they couldn't have kids, adopted 4, and then had two surprise pregnancies in a row??

Hobber- No real shopping yet, if there is one thing 3 kids has taught me it's that you never really know how big they will be or how fast they will grow. I've bought a few things but will wait to do to much till after the gifts roll in lol

Im not skipping Oct. for sure. I was not even 5 weeks if I wouldn't take that test I never know I was pregnant. It was just so early I don't think I need to skip a month or more.

So, I am American, but I don't use/hear the term "member" for penis all that often. I mean, occasionally I do, but usually there are other words I hear much more often. I got curious about how the term came about, and all I could find was this slang dictionary--look how many words there are for penis! Very entertaining.
