Thank you for the kind words guys, it's greatly appreciated! We are praying everything works out and he will be fine. Just can't shake the feeling is something wrong. ... It's been amazing to finally have our little boy, a little brother for our son, and to feel complete... It's all I ever wanted and it can be ripped away. I am, of course, trying to stay positive.

With my DS2, we opted to do the bloodwork with the quad screening too. It came back positive for Down syndrome and his NT scan had inconclusive nasal bone measurement. We were devastated. My OB reassured me it could be a false positive and ordered another US. Everything measured fine and didn't need an amniocentesis.

Thanks Girlie for thinking of me :) No results yet. But I'm pretty sold on it being a boy. It has gotten easier in that I'm almost in denial being pregnant so I pretend I'm not, but then I started showing this week. So can't avoid it for much longer. I feel like such a terrible person for feeling this way.
Hello ladies. Can any of you answer on something that my mother asked me the other day about the theory of swaying? Does swaying in terms of diet and cardio affect the sperm or the egg just before conceiving or under? Does it make the male-swimmers less functional so the female swimmers catch the egg or does it affect the conceiving/implantation process, so a female embryo will have better chance of stick and survive? I tried to explain the swaying theory to my mother but found out I don't know much about it although I swayed myself. Maybe XX can answer. You always know much. Thanks in advance

Hii ladies.. today i was talking to my mom.she asked me if my tummy is cold or warm?. as my 4th month have just started i said its normal as always.was cold around navel... and she said its sure sign of girl.👩.i am hoping for boy but will be happy either way..😄😄. may i ask momies prego with boys.. are their tummy warm.? So if your belly is cold, then your hands feel warm when you touch your belly? My hands feel warmer than my belly when I place them on my belly!

Had such a great experience today. I had my anatomy scan last week and was very disappointed in the quality and the tech so I made some calls and found an ultrasound college program that took volunteers from the public for students to train. It was awesome!!
Got a 1hr 20 min ultrasound. First the instructor did the scan and showed the students. She went item by item telling them what was what...baby part by part...things in brain, chambers of heart, each bone they could see, stomach, baby bladder, umbilical cord, aorta, plus arms, legs, fingers, toes- literally everything. My other ultrasounds at doc, the tech was practically silent and didn't point out anything cool.
Then after the instructor showed them, 8 different students took turns scanning me and looking for different things on baby. It was so awesome and I learned a lot. I love medical stuff so it would have been cool to see even if it wasn't my body and baby but of course so awesome that it was my baby.
They were so happy I came in because I am almost 20 weeks and it was perfect timing for the students to practice things they need to do on an anatomy scan. They invited me back at 30 weeks for a 3D scan too...and it was all free. So thankful I found this.
That is fantastic that you got to experience that girliecat and great that you get a free 3d scan at 30 weeks. So glad you had a better experience after being disappointed with your original anatomy scan.

We had ours on Monday, and it showed that babies head is normal sized, but his tummy is over the top percentile.
He is 20 weeks, but measured 20 weeks + 5.Yikes, big baby !
I got weighed and was so happy to find that I'm only up by 8lbs, so I have lost some as I put on 11lbs in the first tri alone.
