So my temp seems to be relatively stable this morning, 98.4 and when I immediately retook it 98.6 (usually when I immediately retake it's the same number). I resisted testing today...I hate looking at stark white BFNs.

Babybeaublue your opk can darken super quick! I see you had a pos opk at cd14 last cycle so maybe by tomorrow it will be darker and pos on cd15 or 16? Fx it does!
Mummy2boys urgh its always the way [emoji46] if you get a pos opk tomorrow and o the next day it would still give you a 2-o attempt which is really good timing! When does dh return home?

Haha well with my short LP I don't make it till 11dpo unless I'm preggo. It saves money with the tests [emoji6]But tomorrow I'm volunteering at a baby fair so it will be either really painful or exciting but I can't deal with sitting there for 3 hours and not knowing.

Thanks for checking up still BFN .. got a pimple on my chin which is a definite sign I will get AF on Monday.. so discouraged.. I am almost ready to throw in the towel and call it quits... I know, right?!!! Grrrr. Although it's weird - I feel kinda mentally checked out from this cycle already.... Like I've already decided in my head that I'm not going to get a BFP. Not sure why. I did though feel that way when we got pregnant w/ my first son - we got pregnant in the first month w/ him and b/c it was my first month ttc I just assumed it was not going to happen on the first try! Last month was my first cycle ever to get a BFN! I know I was super lucky to get pregnant so quickly both times & am thankful for that. But now I kinda feel like it will take awhile. Hang in there butterfly xxoo I know full well how hard it is to try so long. Have you had any fertility testing done? I had testing done after 1st emc and was found to have very low ovarian reserve. I was given clomid because of it but only conceived once on a medicated cycle, the other times were cycle following medicated one so maybe it helped as it stays in you system for up to 2 months or something.

really I don't know anything about clomid other than I feel I heard it tends to result in multiples.. I have never temped is it really helpful in pinpointing exact ovulation? I have not tried e4d do you see people getting more bfp's that way?Quote:

ABC I got pregnant either the first or 2nd month with all 5 of mine. It's frustrating when the months roll by and still nothing. Although now I'm convinced it's dh's test injections. Just wish I'd known sooner.
Pbn FF gave me crosshairs on cd11?!?!? Hoping it changes soon, I don't think it's right, plus I do not want to have to start using opks even earlier each month only to O at like cd16 or something:(

Babybeaublue I'd keep doing eod for now. I'm not convinced you've oed yet either but can understand why ff has put them there. If you temps indicate o taking place further along then ff should adjust your crosshairs accordingly. Hard to say as we don't have any previous cycles temps to know what your usual post o range is but in another week or so there should be a more obvious overall pattern :)

Butterfly temping can be handy to pinpoint o to within a day or two. Sometimes its a super obvious maintained temp spike, other times it can be more subtle but you can usually tell with an overall pattern. Clomid or femara are both fertility meds. Clomid can result in more than one egg being released hence the multiples chance but in the 2.5 years I've been active on this site I don't think I've seen any multiples conceived from those taking clomid [emoji848] (myself included) Both clomid and femara are strong pink tactics and some women get clomid specifically for their sway. So if you are prescribed it after telling your ob you've been trying unsuccessfully for a year then bonus [emoji3] I'd probably give e4d a couple cycles too before temping as many women find it stressful to temp/chart :)Quote:

Keep up the diet, stop any lubes (unless you need a bit to make BDing comfortable), no jump and dump (if you have to keep it wait at least 15-30min).

I would also definitely go in and see your OB and tell him/her you've been TTCing this long without getting pregnant. Most likely they will do bloodwork before prescribing Clomid for you. I would BD E4D this coming cycle and while you are waiting to get Clomid.

You may just o a bit later this cycle, hopefully its not an anovulatory cycle [emoji53] I've heard of delayed o from a chemical (although only by days) but not heard of not oing the cycle following cycle because of it [emoji848] Hope it becomes clearer over the next few days.

That's right! Sorry you did say that yesterday. I'd just keep doing one afternoon opk a day now (if you've got a heap of cheapie ones) and keep temping so the cycle makes some sense for you in the end. When is dh back? Did you say he was gone for a week?
