Well Aiden decided to make his arrival a few days early. I went into labor Saturday night and they did my csection yesterday morning. He weighed 7lbs 9oz Attachment 38259

Team green became team blue! Our third boy was born this morning and our family is complete. Baby Felix is very quiet and sleepy so far.
I had a membrane sweep on Tuesday and an acupuncture appointment on Wednesday to try and bring on labor. On Wednesday my contractions were so intense and frequent I went to the hospital, but labor stalled once I arrived so I went home again. The same thing happened on Thursday, but I also started bleeding fairly heavily so they thought I had a placental abruption and decided to induce me. Since baby's heartbeat was fine and they had more urgent cases, I had to wait until morning for someone to start the induction. By the time they could get me in, I'd already made it to 8 cm in my own and they decided to just break my water instead of using pitocin. 20 minutes later baby Felix was in my arms!

Jconger, I'm definitely done because I don't want to go through pregnancy and childbirth again. Plus, I've swayed twice and had two more boys so I don't think there's much point trying for my DG indefinitely. I do still feel a bit sad to see baby girls and think I'll never have a daughter, though. A part of me toys with the idea of (domestic) adoption one day. My husband is open to it. I might look into it when our boys are all school age and things start to settle down a bit. But then that would mean a bigger car, a bigger house (we only have three bedrooms). I'm not sure if it's realistic. For now I'm just trying to enjoy my last baby hugs while Felix is still little!

Jconger -I am definitely done. 3 failed sways and 5 boys, I am done. Life with 5 has been quite the challenge. I am happy that the baby is such a good baby. He is mellow and is finally taking bottles well.
