I don't think OutofTheBlue is checking in here much right now, so she may not see this. I've been chatting with her, and so far this month has gone great for her. She didn't have such a delayed ovulation this time, and her temps look great. I'm praying she gets a BFP sometime in the next few days :pray:.
I know! I was hoping when she came back she would see we were thinking of her :)
Glad to hear she's doing well, and I figured now that its March she'd be here soon.
I do feel like it was a boy. I had this huge gut feeling the other day that I was pregnant and it was a boy. I lay awake wondering how, and maybe it was all my attempt. Not sure what to believe. I do now that less attempts means less sperm. And fr was so hard for us because dh does not take care of himself.
I feel like I might change our plan -- I am 29 (30 in August) and dh is 36 (37 in April).
I was thinking to dtd on +opk night after abstaining. Then have him release in the morning and afternoon and then dtd again the following evening using his 3rd release.
We conceived all our boys doing multiple multiple attempts. Maybe that is why I thought boy for sure.
Maybe thinking that way will help you move forward for next month (as bad as that sounds, but it would help me). Perhaps start a thread would be good to get Atomic to weigh in. I know she will recommend against abstain due to DH age, although sounding like you will do compressed frequent. Have you read the thread on compressed frequent. Take a look at how many days are needed to be considered compressed frequent.
The multiple attempts is not what would make baby a boy. You know that diet is most important and with your 3 boys you ahd a boy diet naturally. You've said that a few times! I'm thinking compressed frequent might be good middle ground then you can add attempts if you want as you go without worrying that he has not released enough. I want you to get a plan quick, so that you can then sit back, relax and not raise T.
thanks, ya I know. I just feel like I was so strict on the diet and still a boy?? I obviously don't know for sure, but in my gut I felt it was even before the bleeding started.
I just don't know anymore, I really don't know what to do.
PFP, I think I would still get my doc to run some blood work just to see what you HCG level was. It could be over 5 and you know for sure if you were pregnant then. I would also have them check my progesterone to see if it was low too, because like me you may need supplements while TTC.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how much this is hurting you from my own mc, and will continue to pray for you and your DH as I am sure he is a devastated as you are.
Thanks KD. I wish he was. I think he has an emotional chip missing. He does not get as emotionally invested in any of this like I do.
Men don't like to show their emotions sometimes and I am sure he sees how much your are hurting that he does not want to make it worse. I believe he feels just as bad as you do about it.Quote:

from memory, i think the general consensus is abstain for younger men, and FR for older, i think i read something along those lines in one of the essays. I wouldnt have thought quality is an issue for a man at 25.Quote:

Best of luck for march, I cant imagine how disappointed you must be, but try and think positive and pink, for some reason it just wasnt the right time, just believe that when the time is right you will get your pink bundle.

Dannikins, Suregena finally got AF, after 56 days! So her next attempt is in May.
P4P, I am sad that your AF is here. Glad you finally know what is happening though. It is horrible not knowing what is going on with your body when you can't control anything.
Hope, I have just been finding it hard to get my head around cycles that are all over the place. I normally get O pains that are mild to medium and last a few hours. So when I started getting those in Feb I thought O was happening and for some reason the OPKs didn't work. So we did our attempts. Anyway, days later I got +OPK, more O pains that ended up lasting for days (totally unusual for me) and my temp eventually spiked saying I O on CD18 (the latest I have ever O). I try to plan some things in advance for when I think I will O, as DH works away. So what I had ended up doing was having him around when I didn't O, and having him away when I needed him.Quote:

If your dh is that young abstaining is the way to go. Try a couple months and if you do not get a bfp then switch to fr. I am sure abstaining will do the trick though.Quote:

even though the risks for OLDER men are increased by abstaining I think (from memory) that it's not by a massive amount anyway.. and most damaged sperm won't even make it as far as the egg. At 25 I think you have less to worry about.Quote:

That's great HappyLea!! Sounds like the hot flushes and headache were trying to tell you something! I am sure it will show up on the FRER if it was on a different brand already. Now pinkin will have a due date buddy!!
Hopefully, this morning was an internet cheapie test. I cant believe it just yet as last month i thought i saw a line with squinting but obviously didnt, but this one DH says he can see it and i dont need to squint. Be back on in just over an hour or so with a diff brand test x

Think im 10dpo, had my 1st +opk on CD18 and really bad o pain that evening at 10pm but i went on to have +opks on CD19 and 20. But i think it was CD18 when i Ov'd. Dont temp so cant be sure xQuote:

well 11dpo and i feel AF coming due on tomorrow, temps have come right down so didnt bother testing this morning, my sway next month will basically be the same as yours PFP !
