Thank you so much!! You can have all my blue dust lol all the sticky blue vibes your way also! [emoji92][emoji170] I think I liked your bfp pic in your sway buddy thread too actually LOL. Yay!
I was going to start a due date group board for April/May/June after work tonight as I haven’t seen one yet! I’ve been following the ladies in the January/February/March group also [emoji4] I need to get back to work now as I’m SOOOO behind LOL but if you have the time go ahead and start the group and link me [emoji4] if not I will after work!

Whoops I missed this before, thanks atomic! [emoji16]
Abi thank you! I hope I do great too! Assuming all goes well my boys will be almost 8.5 and almost 5 by the time this next baby would be coming around. I’m hoping since they’re older they’ll actually understand it better and even maybe be a little bit helpful? [emoji51] How far apart are your boys?
Princess mom I so hope this is it for you and this one sticks!! Did your doc have anything else to say besides come back in a week for more blood tests?

Oh yeah you’ll be fine! My boys are all 2 years apart so that’s mostly why the adjustment was hard. They’re 9, 7, 5, and 3. We had a heartbreaking failed adoption from foster care so we actually had a preadoptive daughter for a year. I’m praying we will get the chance again.

Ahh okay yeah that makes sense! For us DS1 was 3.5yo when DS2 came along and poor kid had no clue what was going on, so that was somewhat tough too.
And wow I can’t even imagine having to go through that, I’m so sorry [emoji3525] Fingers crossed! [emoji1695] I’m excited to see your chart in the next couple of days and hopefully confirm O for you!

Thank you! It’s the hardest thing I’ve ever been through!!
I got a huge temp spike this morning so I think ovulation was yesterday! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...6bdba5b5dc.jpg

Fertility friend gave me crosshairs today putting ovulation the day after our attempt- what do you ladies think, too close? We had one unprotected attempt- day 13. The others were dh releases.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yep, totally fine! Our one attempt was the day before O day as well, and actually closer to 1am the day OF O day! We didn’t go to bed until after midnight Saturday night, had our one attempt, and then I ovulated sometime later during the day on Sunday as my temp was up on Monday and stayed up, confirming O for Sunday.
I was nervous too because both our boys we BD every day in the fertile window all the way through O. So having one single attempt this time had me like [emoji51] I didn’t think it would happen at all lol but here we are! 11dpo today and my tests are only getting darker! [emoji4]
So I think your timing was great!! [emoji16]

Thank you that helps!! My 4 sons we abstained usually from af-o and then had one attempt, this time we did frequent release. I sure hope I’m pregnant either way!! I swayed very hard with diet and cardio!! Are you team geek or will you find out?
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Also our attempt was nearly midnight on cd13 too!!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We did every 2-4 day release outside this time then the one unprotected attempt.
Definitely not team green, we will find out as soon as we can. Hoping for the NIPT, that wasn’t around or available for everyone with my first two pregnancies. [emoji1695] I had bad GD after I found out DS2 was a boy (of course could not imagine life without him now! [emoji170]) But if this is indeed another boy, I want that time to get used to it and deal with the GD again. Plus personally for me I find it much easier to bond with baby while pregnant when I know what it is instead of just “it!”
Do you have any thoughts on team green vs finding out once you are pregnant?

6dpo I believe- possible implantation dip? I HOPE!!
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looking good! [emoji2956][emoji1695] I had one too!! You can be pregnant with or without one (and vice versa) but FF has studied it and I think they found it occurs on pregnancy charts more often (23% vs 11%).
https://www.fertilityfriend.com/Faqs...dip-study.html
This is your first time temping you said, right? I’ve charted on and off since 2011 including for both of my boys so I had quite a few charts to compare this one too. My chart with DS2 is messed up because my thermometer died mid cycle right around ovulation so my temps are unreliable. BUT, in all of my charts, the only other time I had an “implantation dip” was the cycle I got pregnant with DS1 in 2012. All my other non pregnancy charts did not show one. It still isn’t a guarantee but it was certainly exciting to see before I tested, and was also true in my case!
Either way your chart is looking good! I’m excited!! I hope you can join us in the due date group soon too! [emoji1695][emoji1695] when are you planning to start testing?
Here’s my chart so far from this cycle for referencehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...aad7bff548.jpg

Yeah, I'm sorry but the implantation dip isn't a real thing. What that temp dip actually is is a surge of estrogen called the "secondary estrogen surge" that happens as the corpus luteum starts to wither away. This helps to maintain the lining (and since estrogen causes lower temps the temp drops on some charts) until a baby can finish implanting and send the signal to the body to maintain the corpus luteum longer, and then it will start making progesterone to sustain pregnancy till the placenta forms and takes over that job late in the first trimester.
So unfortunately that dip does not mean pregnancy. Now, just like HLM noted, FF did study this phenomenon and while it's true that there are more pregnancies in charts that have a good dip, that is very very likely because they were more "hormone-y" and not because the dip itself tells us anything - since there are many, many charts that end in pregnancy that don't have that dip, and quite a few charts that DON'T end in pregnancy that DO have that dip. It's one of those correlation does not equal causation type of things unfortunately.
But that is still a very gorgeous chart and I hope that temp rebounds into the stratosphere tomorrow. :)
Thanks for that! You always explain much better than I can. [emoji16] that’s why I always put “implantation dip” in quotes, haha. It’s easier to say that secondary estrogen surge too! I definitely think there’s something to the “more hormone-y” aspect of it. My dip this cycle was also accompanied by a big increase in CM — started off watery then progressed to large amounts of watery/creamy type mix, to the point I had tons of it when wiping. That’s not the norm for me in my LP either, so I can see how the “more hormone-y” aspect of it can explain that too.
It’s funny because I had other more “pregnancy like” symptoms in my last two cycles, when we didn’t even BD around ovulation because we weren’t trying yet [emoji23] Like my boobs were SO SORE my previous two cycles to the point it hurt to touch and jogging was painful, in the last week of my LP. Like more sore than they are now. But, I didn’t have the dip, or the increased CM in those two cycles.
Just my random observations, I know totally anecdotal and you can have any symptom any cycle and it not matter in relation to pregnant or not. Just interesting to look back and see and compare [emoji4]

Thank you to both of you!! This was a Femara cycle, so I suppose the “hormon-y” thing is true! I read that study by Ff this morning and was hoping I’m a part of the 23% that have it. I would love to join y’all in the due date group too!! I’m feeling super hopeful this month which will be hard if I’m not in fact pregnant.

Wow! Congrats!!! That is sooo amazing!! Sending you sticky pink dust!
It makes me so excited and nervous at the same time that so many of you are all pg in the first round!
I am also in a Dutch forum where everyone is pg in the first round!
I pray that in a months time I will have my gorgeous bfp in my hands so I can join the due date group...
When I was TTC with my DS, everyone in my group got pg so quickly and it made it quit difficult because they always say: it takes an average of a year and yet everyone around me was getting pg in 1-3 months time... I hope so badly I will too!!
How is everyone doing?
It’s very quiet here...
@Hotlikemexico and @Abifasc how are you feeling?
Im currently at cd 12 and hoping for a positive opk any day now. DH really wants to BD LOL. He said he would save up his best for that magic moment but confessed this morning he had a weak moment in the shower Wednesday (my cd 10) I told him it was ok just as long as he only releases inside me the one time at positive opk (right?) and then he felt better again.
Im so excited... hope to get the positive Saturday or Sunday! Fingers crossed
Also my temperature is alot lower this cycle, probably doesn’t mean anything but it maybe cause I’ve finally got the hang of it? LOLAttachment 42824
Proudmom I must confess that I had to run a conversion LOL sad I’m not familiar with Celsius [emoji30] but my temps were a little bit lower than yours usually! Nothing to worry about there. [emoji4] Fingers crosses for a positive opk for you soon!
As for me, my main issue is I reinjured an old herniated disc this week, so I’m in a lot of pain and pretty bummed. I can’t take anything or do anything for it since I’m pregnant, other than PT. It really took away all my excitement over being pregnant. [emoji3525] But I’m feeling a little better today and determined to give it my all in PT and prevent this from happening again. As for pregnancy stuff, I had my first u/s at 6w3d this past Wednesday and saw a heartbeat! 133bpm, it was awesome. [emoji178] I’ve got fatigue and random bouts of nausea, but not TOO terrible. I sent my poor DH to the store earlier because I absolutely NEEDED a loaf of sourdough bread... melted some butter on it and it was the best thing I’ve ever eaten [emoji1787] took away my nausea too!
[mention]Abifasc [/mention] I hope you’re doing well! Haven’t heard from you in a bit either
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hahaha the other way around I have to look up Degrees Fahrenheit LOL.
That sure is a bummer you reinjured! I bet that hurts a lot... hope the PT helps a little. Thank goodness you got that DH of yours then to help you through the nausea. I never had that strong a cravings I had to send my DH to the store when I was pg with my DS, then again... I remember regularly feeling frustrated when I got my pizza and vanilla icecream craving... about an half an hour after all the stores had closed LOL
I guess it was a good thing for me because I barely put on wait because I really had an aversion of chocolate, sweets and crisps when I was pg.
My OPK was near to positive yesterday so we had our one attempt last night! Fingers crossed it was a good one!
Agh the chocolate/sweets/bread/CARBS!! are really all I can handle right now! [emoji30] That’s kind of awesome that that’s what your aversion was to... versus mine which is vegetables! Dang! I’ve already put on almost 4lbs. [emoji24] I’m trying to make myself believe that a lot of it is water weight as I’m RIDICULOUSLY bloated 24/7. Fun times in the first tri! LOL
But YAY FOR YOUR ATTEMPT! That’s so exciting!! I’ve got everything crossed for you! [emoji1695][emoji1695][emoji1695]

Same. For a boy sway, you’re supposed to eat high protein, high fat, high calorie. While I realize I’m not swaying anymore, I still want to eat semi similar so my body doesn’t think I suddenly can’t support this baby, but it’s been so difficult. Meat has been making me kind of sick. It seems too greasy no matter what it is so I’m stuck on carbs right now. LOL
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
YUP! I have Buffalo Wild Wings leftovers in the fridge that I’m dying to eat but haven’t been able to touch, because I can’t stomach the chicken right now. [emoji1785] I’ve done a LOT of reading while being stuck on the couch these last five days (fml) but it seems many are in the same boat with living on carbs now. With my second I could only stomach cereal and canned apricots for the first tri LOL, I’m glad it’s not THAT level this time around. But I watched a bag of arugula go bad in my fridge this past week because I can’t touch it, and I’m so sad about it! [emoji24]

That makes me feel better. I thought I just needed to fight it harder. LOL
