Hopefulmonster that just confused me, so its not that easy to determine then!
Top picture transvaginal bottom abdominal 9 weeks. Please help me I am so confused.
Nakiyasworld - Boy!
3 little ladies- really you think so? What makes you guess that I'm so confused about this method.
Because in the transvaginal baby is on the right side and the abdominal the baby is pretty centred so Im going by the top one cause that's real clear.
Are you hoping for a boy?
YES! I have 5 girls. But I am not getting my hopes up... I also read that all us images are mirrored. Idk anymore.
Oh wow, I really hope this is your boy! Only abdominal u/s's are mirrored!

Had this u/s yesterday at 6 weeks 4 days. Everything was good. Saw the heartbeat. It was trans vaginal. Based off of ramzis theory would this be a boy or a girl?
Sorry I think I explained really badly! Basically, with 100% certainty, I had it confirmed that BOTH transvaginal and abdominal scans are mirror images, not just abdominal.
The reason for the confusion is because both abdominal and transvaginal scans can be done in two different planes/perspectives/views. One is called transverse and is most common, the other is called saggital.
In a transverse view, it is a pure mirror image, with left as right, and right as left.
In saggital view, left is anterior (so the front of your womb) and right is posterior (the back). In a saggital scan it is impossible to determine which side is left and which is right.
Problem is that you can't tell if a scan photo is taken in transverse plane or saggital plane, unless you ask at the time, if that makes sense.
(Unless you know if your placenta is posterior/anterior, and it is on the opposite side to where it should be for a saggital shot, meaning your shot must definitely be transverse) example, If I know my placenta is posterior, then if my scan is saggital it will show the placenta to the right, but my placenta is on the left in my scan pic, so it can't be a saggital shot and must be a transverse shot, meaning I can use ramzi on it because it's a mirror image with left and right.
Wow thanks for that, that explained it better for me, I think I wont be guessing anymore!
Aww no please don't quit guessing! It seems most scans are done in transverse so the mirror image way of guessing would still work just fine. It is only 97% accurate at the best of times so 3 out of every 100 scans will have the baby on the opposite side which is a lot really if you think how many thousands of women get scanned. Xxxxx

luvlyjewels boy!
Me to, but you see I use to think when it was transvaginal you don't mirror image the photo, so I would have said Girl for you, but hopefulmonster has made it clear that all u/s are mirror images.
Honestly don't lose hope because its definitely not always correct.
I received an email from "Dr Ramzi". I have no way to verify it is in fact Dr Ramzi but here is what he asked me to post-
Greeting to all of you...please note that it is not the baby position we look for. It is the placenta position to the sides not placenta height from cervix but the placenta sidedness is more to the right or more to the left side ? and that MUST be done in true transverse section, when you see the ultrasound picture the right side of the picture to you is the mother left side, and the left side of the picture to you is the mother right side. in trans abdominal scan, dont look at the position of the baby. and if you have trans vaginal scan it is the same reverse if the scan was done in pie shape where the widest angle is in the bottom, and if the technologist flip the image and make the widest part of the pie in the upper scan it is not mirror image any more. so please read the research carefully and enjoy , please remember that it is not the gender that important but it is your health and the health of the baby and the gender is just a bonus.
DR SAAD RAMZI ISMAIL, THE AUTHOR OF RAMZIS THEORY AND RESEARCH PAPER.ALBERTA- CANADA
He also says it is NOT accurate before 9 weeks because the placenta has not formed to see it on u/s.

Here is my US from yesterday at 7 weeks 4 days ( baby measured 7 weeks 3 days). It was transabdominal!!! Please take a good look for me please I think at one point I seem to see the uterus as I think you can see the cervix going towards the right if viewed from the side and it seems like baby is lying on top of my cervix!!!! Please any experts out there or anyone with vast experience as I just never seem to have understood the ramsey theory!!!! Thanks in advance!!!

Toomanygirls, I'd have said girl, but that's based on baby's position, I can't tell where the placenta is so I don't know how accurate it is.
Lol.....hopefulmonster...I wish I was toomanygirls but am toomanyboys instead.....thank you so much for your input....it's strange people post all their ramzy ultrasounds and get so many responses....I actually got a video of it you would think people would take more time to guess. If I knew how to recognize the positions and a bit more of a thorough understanding of ramzi theory which keeps giving me confusing info on the net I would figUre it out myself...but it's good to get a couple of opinions to see if the majority think the same. Thank you again.....:)
Hi I was just wondering if you could guess mine.
The first one is 8 weeks the 2nd is 10 weeks. At my 10 week scan she said my placenta was on the left and anterior. I was scanned on the tummy. Attachment 14947
2nd picture. Attachment 14948
Thank you x
I would say Girl!
Thank you :)
We are hoping for a girl this time. We all ready have 6 boys x

I'm useless on Ramzi. The scan is 7+2 and transvaginal. The tech said I ovulated on the left and the baby settled on the left. Yolk sac on left on scan. What do you guys think?
Attachment 15178
I'm not so great at this theory. Can anyone take a look at this and see what you think? This was 6 weeks, 5 days and was transvaginal. I am thinking maybe the yolk sac is in the top right w/the baby? So that would mean boy? Or maybe just wishful thinking, lol.
Attachment 15337
anyone care to guess mine? This was an abdominal scan done at 7 weeks and 5 days.. further scans (11 weeks and 13 weeks) have both said that placenta is on the left hand side..Attachment 15354
I would love if someone would make a guess for me. I have two boys that both implanted in the bottom right. Had a 6 week vaginal ultrasound today and the baby was all the way at the top with the sac directly beneath it - not swayed to one side or the other... I am so confused!!!Attachment 15557

This is my u/s at 8.4 weeks is it to late for the ramzi method? Can someone take a guess :-)
She said my placenta was on the right
jimm Im going with Little wee Lady for you!
kimbie Im going with Little wee Man for you!
Kimbie placenta on the right would mean boy according to ramzi. What are you hoping for?
And since we are making guesses, this is my 9 week abdominal scan. I've read many times you flip the abdominal scan, but I'm still unsure if that's right. I also have the films (like x-ray type ones) and it shows baby blood flow towards the right of the picture as well, where the yolk sac is. I am very confused and would appreciate any guesses. Attachment 15916
mine was in the middle always!! I had a girl but I really do not believe in this theory since I ovulated from right side!! I hope you guys all get your desired gender!! Hope you guys get to hear soon, aidan everyone is telling u girl... that is a good sign!!
Can I have help reading my u/s? It was transvaginal and done at 6 weeks and 3 days. I thought it was a good shot of my uterus, but maybe far away to read where the placenta mass is? I thought this further away, clearer shot of my uterus in its "bulb" shape may help, but I can't tell where the placenta is. I've been studying other sonograms and am VERY confused and have NO idea what it could be. HELP!
Attachment 15927
hi signgirl, your bub seems to be right in the middle which makes it more complicated I guess, but I read a lot these last days about Ramzi and some women just take into account the yolk sac, which apparently would fuse with the placenta in the future, please don't hold me accountable as I have no idea if this is true, I also find it beyond difficult to locate a placenta that early and as far as I've read, they don't even exist yet (!?), that's why I wonder if this Ramzi thing makes any sense. Being a transvaginal they say you don't flip (also unsure if that's the case), in that case, judging by the yolk sac, I would say it's a boy because yolk sac is to the right. Hopefully this makes sense but once again, I do not know all the facts of Ramzi for sure, hope you get your desired gender.
7w4d vaginal ultrasound of TWINS taken today. Please help predict with Ramzi method. xoxoxoxox
