I hadn't been OPK testing, PG testing or temping prior to the ectopic. My IUD had just been removed and we were traveling. When I found out I was pregnant with each of my boys, I tested only because of symptoms. By the time I tested, they were glaring BFPs. So I really have no idea.

It was my first cycle. I hadn't had AF on the Mirena and then started bleeding off and on. So I just thought I was having AF when it was actually the ectopic. It was quite a bit of blood for a short portion of the day though and then it would just stop for a few days and then back on again. It was never light pink spotting. Mostly dark blood in clumps and was accompanied by gut pain and cramps in the middle of the night on several times.
But I don't want to scare you. Just keep an eye on it and definitely see if you can get bw done to check your levels.

Ash I'm sorry your getting a scare and so soon :( I agree with xxforhubby about the betas and would ask for them if they don't order them. Fx it was from the bding! Hang in there! Let us know when they call back.
I'll be gone for a few hours as I have to work again today but am going to get some more tests and do one when I get home.

Maxim how are your opks looking?

Mellifluous May
Ash I'd say no BDing for a couple of weeks? It could also be further implantation. It can take days and days. To me it's not much, but still scary I know. I had the same with DS1. It's not over x

Afm: I feel so relieved as I'm fairly sure my early pregnancy signs are disappearing. It's re-assuring

Trying to look at the optimistic side of things!! Maybe it's baby bean #2 implanting haha. On the bright side I do still feel bits of nausea bbs sore, but also lots of cramping which is scary now
