@Fivebabies--my MIL is an awful woman too. I'm so happy she doesn't come to my house frequently anymore!
Mother's Day was actually pretty boring for me. Today I set up the wading pool for DS3 and he got a real kick out of pouring water all over himself and getting really wet. DH comes home tomorrow from offshore. Yeah for that!

So I think I am crazy. Went for our FTS today. Was really happy to see the little person moving all around. Got my test results - for Trisomy 13/18 the risk was really low 1 in 6, 681 compared to my age risk of 1 in 335. The DS risk was 1 in 766 compared to my age risk of 1 in 199. I should be super happy but instead I am feeling worried. I know I should not be worried - 1 in 766 is good - a 765/766 chance baby is fine. I went in thinking that if the risk was greater than 1 in 500, I would do the CVS. I guess this just feels "borderline" to me but I know it is not!! Arrghh. I guess I have just seen so many women older than me come back like 1 in 5000 or 1 in 10,000 that it seems low.
The genetics counsellor brought up the MaterniT21 test. At the time, I wasn't even thinking about it. I just left her a message. Seems like my insurance will cover it so I am going to do it. The risk seems too low to do CVS but I don't want to be worried over nothing.
This is SO weird to me - my thinking. I mean I have 2 babies already - this was my first EVER ultrasound. I had no tests, had my babies at home. It is like I somehow went over some magical age limit and suddenly worried. I know deep down it probably has a lot to do with GD. I have just been waiting so long for this baby and did so much to get here.

Awe, Hun...Don't be worried! That all sounds great! You really have nothing to be worried about. But I do see why you are since you've never had any tests done ever. You're baby is going to be fine. :)
I went to the Dr today and they want to see me in a week to make sure my bleeding issue is healing up so I'll have another u/s and I'm hoping to get a good nub shot to obsess over!!! I will be 12w4d. I know that later is better but I couldn't push it any further.

So i booked my gender scan today.....its not until July 16.....that is the earliest I could get in, they are really backed up....My city is a young town and everyone is pregnant...lol....

Does anybody know what is the full term for twins, i really want to have them in December. My normal due date would be on December 16. I will have my next u/s in 3 weeks, hopefully i will get a good nubs pictures of babies, dying to find out the gender.

Most twins come (or need to be delivered) sometime between 32-36wks, but I was told 37wks is classed as full term. At least that was the case in the UK were my twins were born. My OB took them out via c-section at 37w1d and 37wks was the earliest he would consider (unless my BP started going through the roof again). My boys measured well over 7lbs (though they were actually just under 7lbs each when delivered). I think because my DH is so tall and their limbs were so long it threw the ultrasound measurements off!

Wait, Pearl...Did we know you were having twins??? I must've missed that. C0ngrats!!!!
