Bythe******, sorry to hear you have been having some anxiety too. Honestly, you are like a rock! I was just thinking you are at peace with it all as I am (starting from last week) opening my box of crazy on you all.

(I am now going to make a feeble attempt to take your place as the logical, rock of the group!! :) Two weeks will be here before you know it! Try to enjoy the mystery. It will be what it will be and that little friend will steal your heart! :)

I have a 2 week work trip coming up and I will be busy. So relieved that it will distract me or I don't know how I could make it through the month.

Thanks Lizzie you are sweet, I keep reminding myself what will be will be. My boys are totally gorgeous as well so I would never be disappointed with another, just a bit disappointed if I never get to raise a girl as I'm pretty sure this is our last. I think its the not knowing that gets to me, I've never been one for surprises I just want to know either way.

Ahhhhhhh BabyGirl4Me!!!! CONGRATS!!!! that is such amazing news, so happy for you hun :) lol i love your little lunch story...isnt it funny things start to become completely irrational in your head all the way to your scan and your brain goes into gender overload! That is great you got a good tech, and i tend to agree with her about the skull theory (even tho i did guess ur bub right!) because ive seen so many opposites. Did she say anything about nub theory??

Ahhh Lizzie and bythe******, im with you an the anxious train, some days im calm and collected and other days its like a crazy google session to find that perfect girl 12wk ultrasound that looks just. like. mine. ... hopefully BabyGirl4me has us all on a winning streak and we will be announcing our DDs here soon ....

I have an amnio booked for the 20th June and im wondering if they will be able to tell me at that scan the gender...should i ask do u think? The dna results of the amnio will be able to tell me with 100% certainty 3/4 days later but i figure if they are going to do an ultrasound anyway maybe they can tell me....

Hi girls I hope you don't mind me jumping in so late :). I am due for #4 8th Nov but due to past experience the local midwives/hospital don't expect me to go past 25th Oct. I am due to have my gender scan on 13th June (not long now. Errrr :nails::nails: ). I will try to get sometime over the next couple of days to catch up on the many pages I have missed and catch up on where everyone is in their pregnancy ;)

Hello Ladies! Sorry to hear that several you are suffering the anxiety that was the story of my life last week. The good news is your scans are coming up so that not knowing will be over soon.

Lizzie - thanks for the well wishes and no, she doesn't buy into the skull theory at all. Personally, I don't think your skull looks boyish anyway. I honestly thought I was going to hear boy at my scan, but nope, it was a girl for me. Hope you get the same news.

Mumof6 - thank you for the well wishes too! I honestly haven't had any time to think about shopping yet because we've been busy but there will be time for that. I'm grateful I went with neutral clothes for DS so I can re-use the green and yellow sleepers that will no longer fit her in 3 months time anyway, lol. I love the name Ashton Charlie. It's so wonderful to hold a snuggly little newborn. I didn't want to give up the little one I held this weekend. They're so amazing and bitty. You will love him to bits when he's finally here.

Dreaminginoz - thank you for your well wishes! I do hope I have started a streak of pink here, but of course only for you ladies who swayed pink. I think we have a few blue swayers here too from earlier posts.

The tech said that at around 14 weeks she doesn't even go by the nub and just looks at what's there, so she didn't tell me girl based on the nub but on the actual parts that you could see.

They may be able to give you a guess at your amnio. It doesn't hurt to ask. The worst they'll say is no. :) I'm glad you'll know with 100% certainty after you get the results back.

I envy all of you!! I don't even have a gender scan date set yet.....I am guessing they wont give me one till around 20 weeks, boo. lol. Congrats to everyone that has found out!! I am still feeling sick, when will this end?!?! I feel like I want to eat, but when I go to, I can't eat anything. So frustrating!!!

Bit late but can I join? I'm due 3rd Nov :)
We have a son already and 2 angels so will be very relieved to get to the 20 week mark soon :)
