Iluv - thank you for sharing. I went to c my dr (GP only) today. She sent me for a blood test which I will do next week. I was low in iodine when pregnant with DD2 and had to take supplements. So if I was told I had thyroid problems I would not be surprised. I really hope not though, that would be hard. I think I would just give up on TTC if it did happen, so wow good on you for still trying.

You would give up on ttc if you had thyroid issues? It's really just a small pill every day and finding the right dosage which you would need to do anyway. Once you get it sorted out there are no issues of ttc. I've been on it for a couple of weeks and had a normal cycle. The proof will be next time I O, but things are better already and it's safe to take w/ pregnant and nursing. GL to you!

Awww, thank B. I don't like to bring it up too much and hope no one thinks I'm looking for sympathy it's just a big part of my life good and bad. I know so many others here have had losses too. I've definitely been all over the board w/ swaying going from wanting another boy only, to being ok w/ a girl, just wanting a baby, maybe I shouldn't have anymore children and back and forth. I just hope I can be happy if I get pregnant again and excited for creating life w/ no GD, but who knows. Emotional Roller Coaster. Thanks for riding w/ me, it will be a long ride for sure w/ lots of ups and downs and lots of corkscrews. :)

I don't even have the benefits of big boobs w/ my poochy tummy for like my shirts to hang better and not skin tight making my stomach stick out more. I don't want to buy a lot of clothes either since I plan on being pregnant soon. I think I have about 4 months to hide my pregnancy w/ my current stomach size. :) At some point bigger lower 1/2 and small boobs will just make me look awkward, at least I'm tall.

I love the DD2 theory though and that I'm not the only one. We love her, but she has been a challenge to say the least. Good thing she's cute. :)

There is no way that a Starbursts and Skittles diet could result in low nutrients. Don't you sweat it even a little. :) I'm going w/ that theory since I live on a mostly liquid diet of Starbucks and redbull. Could thing I've conceived 2 DS's on that diet or I might be sweating it a little bit more. :) Maybe I'll start my own forum with the Starbucks/Redbull diet to ttc sons. J/K!

So, yeah, AF showed today. Rethinking strategy now. I think I'm gonna get some preseed mixed with some bs this time. Still trying to decide about taking the soy this time. It didn't mess up my cycle at all. O'ed early actually. It *may* have messed up my ewcm, but idk that for sure. I know for a lot of people it gave them tons of ewcm! It gave me a VERY strong O, I believe. Have severe O pains for 2 days. I may try it again. What do you ladies think? Maybe it'll be ok with me using the preseed too?

DD2's bday party is Saturday. She turned 2 yesterday! Wondering if it'll be ok to eat some cake and ice cream? Or maybe just the cake? lol

BTW - Since we have so many BFP's recently I thought I would just give my :twocents: about acupuncture during pregnancy.

I did this during my pregnancy w/ DS2 in the beginning and it was great. As far as being nauseous, my acupuncturist and I had the same experience w/ acupuncture reliving my nausea and allowing me to feel hungry instead. Like I could now understand that nausea was my body's weird way of saying it was hungry, I also had some pulling in my pelvis and the acupuncture relieved that right away and it overall relaxing and gets the blood flowing.

So if you've been considering it, I would recommend it.

I let DH name DS2 and I can't tell you the amount of drama that was and is still caused by that. :) My sister complains her DH likes only plain names....my DH does not have that problem. :) It's scary giving my DH full range and we are trying a group decision at this point (not that we didn't discuss every name though). He's waffling on the boy name but the one he told me he was considering I would totally go for.

I wouldn't think twice about that prediction either and I like what someone said if that theory was concrete Dr.'s would be predicting sex at 7-8 weeks. I'm pretty good about predicting based on the way women carry but some women carry exactly the way the would w/ the opposite sex. By the time the belly is big enough to really tell, women find out w/ U/S anyway.

Not much going on here, still trying to feed my poor starving body. I'm so detached from all this right now, I'm positive that this is all going to be over any second so no point making plans or being excited. DH and I haven't talked names and always say "if" when referring to things. We have decided that if I'm still so detached at the 20 wk scan (if we get there) we'll find out the gender to help me bond. I hate feeling like this.
On a happier note I just got the word they are going to start my friends induction today so we should have a baby tomorrow!! So excited, I guess I should pack a bag :)

Not sure i've picked up enough on you feeling detached. I had that soooo bad throughout DS2's pregnancy (1 more thing to regret for life). He was a complete surprise and I think hormones can play such a huge part in that (i'm hormonal in general). Mine was not for loss reason but I'm scared how I'll feel if I get pregnant again due DS2's death. Not sure what to do about it but it's just no fun at all. I'm really sorry to hear that and I understand completely. GL on the scan decision.

That is so exciting about being in the delivery room. I love having people there and wish I could have everyone I love be a part of it. Dh doesn't feel the same though. :)
