oh hunny it will be here before you can blink!
Congratulations mommyof3. What a cutie!
Good luck Jadis.
Sorry to hear what a bad time you are having mummy23boys.
Mrs P - Here's hoping DS3 doesn't get any spots with your labour so close eek!
Oh, Mrs. P-I wish I was! My labour has started and stalled out twice now. Contracted for 6 hours 2 days ago and 4 hours yesterday only to have them start spacing out and getting weaker. I've hardly slept a wink and I'm unbelievably frustrated. I've had 2 stretch and sweeps and acupuncture this week! My midwives say I'm at a solid 3cm and 70% effaced, they're hoping that all the contractions I've had over the past few days aren't for nothing. Hopefully the contractions are changing my cervix and may help my actual labour be shorter. I hope they're right! Regardless, I'm being induced first thing tomorrow morning. My midwife will come to my house and break my waters for me. I'll update soon, hopefully. Thanks for thinking of me.
Everyone else ok?
How are all the new babies doing? Sleeping/eating well???
I am now just over 5 weeks post partum! I will be returning to Bootcamp as of July 15th to get back in shape! I feel fully recovered from the csection but just waiting a couple more weeks to be safe. I am down 25lbs so far so just 15lbs of baby weight left - Bootcamp will kick that off in no time! Really excited to get back in shape! Hudson is doing fabulous, couldn't ask for a better baby!
Jadis your midwife comes to your home and breaks your waters - I need your midwife !! Here any sort of induction needs to be done at the hospital :-(
Mrs P how is your little boy doing? Has he had any spots turn up yet?
Yes, I'm very lucky here. I'm lucky to even have a midwife! It's very tricky to get a midwife in my region. You have to call them the second you have a positive pregnancy test, if you want any chance of getting in. Plenty of women who would've preferred a midwife end up with an OB/GYN and the model of care is quite different. I LOVE my midwives and am so intensely grateful.
weird they would break your water when your not in labor and not that far past edd. hope it works for ya :)
