Poor you 3boys. I have no advice to offer you just sympathy. Hope you feel better in the next few weeks.
A middle aged man from another department who I only have very brief dealings with in work just came up to me on my way to the canteen and told me he had a dream that I was pregnant and that it was another girl. I was floored. The only person in work who knows I am pregnant was with me at the time and her lips are sealed.
Thank you everyone for your support. I feel a bit better today and have only been sick once. This is very unlike me to be this sick (made me wonder if I had a virus) but it feels like MS as I'm not running a temp or stomach cramps etc. my mum is convinced its twins even though I keep reminding her there is only one baby in there (confirmed at ultrasound).
Could it be a girl?? ... Knowing my luck it is another boy who wants to make sure I know he is coming.
How crazy and strange is this. I think I would be very freaked that this guy was dreaming about me in the first place and then have the balls to come over to you and tell you about it!!
Don't let the girl thing worry you. What a middle age semi-stranger thinks about the contents of your womb has NO BARING WHATSOEVER on what sex child you will have.
Edit: On reflection maybe he dreamt you were pregnant so he could offer his services! ha ha ha ha
How strange!!
It did really freak me out. But I know this guy is majorly inappropriate at the best of times and has kids and a wife. We had a good laugh over lunch but I will be trying to avoid him as much as possible in the next few weeks. I am not really to worried about his gender prediction I feel I did a good sway. It was just more the shocking inappropriateness of the comment and the fact that I am trying to hide a pregnancy
Also no thanks to that offer, he has a bigger belly then I will have at 9 months
hello everyone, 3 boys sorry your feeling so rough, i know that feeling well with ds3 i was so rough (its got progressively worse in all my pregnancies) even songs on the tele that were on around lunch time made me feel sick for ages - hope it eases soon for you.
I'm 7 weeks today and still don't feel pregnant - no ms (keep thinking its starting and i feel funny for a few seconds then it passes - weird, prob means its another boy and my body is so used to male hormones).
Pearl that's weird about that man, a girl i worked had a man stop her in the middle of the street, strange old man, whilst she was out on site and went "its a girl, i'm never wrong" we had a good laugh about it at the time, he was right though he daughter was born a couple of weeks ago (although to be fair he had a 50/50 chance). People say you dream the opposite of the gender you get - so maybe he was right and your pregnant with a boy x
Hope everyone is feeling well! Sorry you are feeling so sick 3boys! I hope it gets better!
10 weeks and I am NESTING already??? LOL!! Has anyone else been feeling like this????
Today I got an incredible urge to clean out our spare room (this will be DS's room eventually before baby comes). We have been using this room for the last 2 years just as storage, kinda like a junk room. My goodness what a chore!!!! But I am determined to get it cleared out today for some reason lol.
Anyone else having lots of crazy gender dreams? I've dreamed twice that this is a boy, last night I dreamed it was a girl and her foot was sticking out of my belly. So weird! These pregnancy dreams are nuts. How's everyone feeling? Sorry you're feeling so bad, 3boys. I'm feeling pretty rotten myself, just lots of indigestion and trapped wind. So painful!
I was saying this a few posts ago . I have to do things in the evenings when I come in from work and not just flop. And I can keep going until about 9.30 when the tiredness kicks in and then it is straight up to bed. Last sat, I cleaned the entire house, including down on my hands and knees scrubbing in between the tiles in the bathrooms and front porch.
Mrs P , I don't feel pregnant either, my only signs are going to bed earlier and the evening bloat. This is the way I was with DD too, so hopefully for both of us it has nothing got to do with gender and more to do with our bodies tolerance for hGC. My mam was the sickest she had been with all my sisters (6 of us) with me (no 4), so I am thinking I was exposed to very high levels of hGC when I was a bump and that is why I don't get MS. Just a theory.
