Sky with the opk thing, you'll get a pos opk if you're pregnant but not before getting a pos on a hpt, it's really just a way to pass time and deal with the poas itch 😂 I've done it many cycles to get past the early early days 😂 the two hormones lh and hcg are kinda twins but where opks can pick up hcg, hpts don't recognize lh....
Maxim - Unfortunately, it does not mean there is a baby. With a blighted ovum your HCG keeps going up as there's a placenta and everything there should be, except the baby. Hope you O soon.

Ash - Numbers are good, but still could just be a typical blighted ovum. My work trip has been postponed for 24 hours :) YAY This is amazing because I was going to miss my son's 6th birthday. We were just going to celebrate early as he only knows the date if we tell him, but now we don't need to and I won't have mummy guilt.

Pbn3 - Busy is good in the TWW
AFM - I'm worried I'm rushing the D&C. After reading about misdiagnosed miscarriages, it's possible I need to wait another week....but for me, it's almost 1.5 weeks and then I feel like I'm delaying things more. I am a teacher and I'm replacing someone else on maternity leave. Each year my contract is renewed. (from Jan - Dec). If I'm pregnant at the end of the year, my contract won't be renewed. So I need to have a baby as close to Dec/Jan/Feb as possible. I'll just have to wait and see on Wed.
Well hubby and I talked about when yo test I told him I'd like to wait until Wednesday because it'd either be yes or no and I was honestly hoping he'd say no so I could give in earlier. But I offered to pee in a cup and let him dip the stick and do the test! I thought he'd be grossed out but he agreed!! So that's my set plan that won't be changing [emoji4]

Iwant4kids will you be near 8 weeks next scan? That's usually when they can for sure see baby by right? Still praying baby shows!

Iwant4-I don't blame you for not wanting to rush things and know 100%! I agree with Ash, by 8 weeks they should be able to see either way. I also have a tilted uterus and with an internal u/s at 8 weeks, we were able to see DS1. Praying sooo hard that baby is there!!!! There are many stories with happy endings!
Ash-lol, so you're going to test with DH on Wed...at least that will help you wait! Wouldn't that be an awesome moment for you to get your BFP with DH being a part of it!!! Fxfxfx!!!!
So, the in-laws are in town & it has been busy!! They watched the boys so DH & I could go on a nice dinner date. Now we're headed to my niece's 1st bday party. I got her a toy, but of course I also had to get her the cutest dress & matching bow lol. I really need my DD this time!! I stepped on the scale & I've lost several lbs. I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but I'm petite & my weight doesn't really fluctuate. It's not water weight b/c I've been drinking crystal light all morning. I'm worried that I've taken the LE diet to far & maybe that's why I'm on cycle 4 ttc. I never intended to lose weight, but wondering....

Lola I've lost about 5lbs and had been weight lifting and running a lot so I was taking my measurements every so often. I really wanted to remeasure last night because I feel like I'm larger but have lost weight. So I guess I'm doing it right if so. Loosing all my muscle ☹️

Well dh finally brought up using protection yesterday. I told him I didn't want to go on the pill and that either he could get the snip (which he said no 😂) or we start using condoms. So there may be no NTNP after all. I'm honestly ok with that and if I could dont end up with a miracle bfp next week then I'm going to make sure he pulls down the cot in our room. I'm then going to sell or giveaway all my baby stuff which will be sad :( but needs to be done.
Sumbal I hope you get your bfp this cycle even better your boy I honestly don't feel any different to very confident either i have everyday symptoms. Tired, sore bbs, spotting could have just been who knows what, felt a bit nauseous this am but skipping breakfast doesn't settle well with me.
Pbn I hope you get your miracle slip! You should make him be the one responsible for the condom purchases. Hehe

Ash-maybe I've lost muscle weight too...we're on the right track then. I'm not really feeling any different this cycle either. Guess I'm going to try not to read too much into things.
Pbn-I'm going to attempt to wait until Wed. I think I can do it this time b/c I just disappointed myself over & over again last time. What about you?? Don't like to hear that you had "the talk" but glad you're feeling ok about it. Hope you get your little surprise & then it won't be an issue!!! Agree with Ash, have DH buy the condoms & he'd have to be responsible for remembering to use them in the moment lol.
