Baby is head down snuggled into my hip.. Measuring 3 pounds 4 ounces.. Looks just like her daddy ee got good shots today. Tech said baby is a snuggler just wanted her face smashed into me the whole time..
Oh and HAIR!! Measurable amounts and length is almost 1 c.. You can see it in all of her shots basically the wiggly lines on her head are hair

Kcumm-- is your iron within normal limits or is it low? They did ekgs on me and looked at my heart when i was having similar issues and my iron was very low but heart ended up looking fine...i dont feel i can offer advice on the c section other than to say for different reasons i am going to have one myself for the sake of this baby after what happened to her older sister...

Burakoam-- yes my iron was low they found that I'm anemic, my potassium is low, and my magnesium. so recently I have started taking pills for all of these. but that is definitly a relief to know my iron could be the cause. with my daughter it was 48 hours of nothing. i was in labor for 24 hours before my contractions became too much for talking and we went to the hospital. dialated to 4 when i got there dialated to 6cm later that night and the next day i was still only dialated to 6. they broke my water and gave me something to speed up the labor and i just never progressed. i will probably schedule one to prevent the same situation it's just scary
Yes kcumm that could be what it is. My potassium was low too...could be exactly whats causing those issues for you. Let them check your heart to keep your mind at ease but hopefully knowing it could be your iron and minerals being out of wack gives you hope its nothing super serious... In your shoes i would schedule the surgery. It is a scary thing, so is the idea of anything going wrong that could affect the baby too though. It may bring comfort if you prepare for it this time only because you know you dont have to worry about suspended or prolonged labor.
Wow, have any of you experienced let down of breastmilk before birth before? I have experienced leaking before birth the previous two times... But just now i soaked through my t shirt.. I mean soaked. What on earth?
This is the first time for me too Bura! As I was taking off my sports bra tonight after working out, I noticed the insides of my bra were wet. As I looked at my nipples, I had dried, caked milk on them that I had to gently scrub off in the shower. I wonder if this had been going for awhile, and I just noticed. Crazy, huh?!

Rosie- I am so sorry to hear about the job loss. I certainly hope you have friends/family helping you out. I'm sure it all seems dismal and hopeless now but I promise it won't last. We lost everything in a house fire 2 yrs ago. One of the lowest hardest times of my life. 1 yr later we moved out of my in laws and bought our own place. Take all the help you're offered even though it is SO hard. Believe me, I know. Hugs to you and your family. Just know as bad as it seems it won't last.

Oh Rosie I'm so sorry to hear the news about your DH's job loss. I really hope you have family and friends you can lean on during this extremely difficult times. I would surely miss you as I look out for your posts and was in the earliest TTC groups with you since 2013. I'm sending you lots of positive vibes your way. It can only get better from here.

You were the first to encourage me when I didn't think I would feel symptoms at 3dpo. Sure enough I was pregnant that month. I was heart broken when I learned of your losses. I'm so sorry you are going through such a trying time especially now that you are expecting your rainbow baby. You will most certainly be missed. I really hope to read a positive update on you if you choose to come back. All the hugs being sent to you.
Pretty sad around here. I wish the best for you Rosie and can't imagine that things won't turn up. Try relax- be strong- this will pass.
I am keeping this as my mantra as I support my mom through chemo/radiation, surgery and more chemo. This next year will be trying but amidst it all I just know that things will work out.

Rosie!! I can't believe you think we would forget you, we were TTC about the same time and I too was devasted to hear of your miscarriages and so happy to learn of this pregnancy. I'm sure something will work out for DH but it sounds like a very stressful time for you big hugs Xxxx

Well I'm 34 weeks today and can't believe I'm in final few weeks before baby! From the sway to now seems really quick in a way and I still smile so much when I remember we have a little princess in the oven lol. My friends threw me a lite pink baby shower on Friday and gave me a lovely pink basket full of baby girl things, it made it all so real and I was so touched!
I'm back at hospital on Tuesday for a growth scan and looking like might need weekly scans if baby still measuring a bit small, Will know more after scan this week. I should have been getting scans regularly all along but thanks to an incompetent midwife my last one was ten weeks ago. I will be very upset if I go Tuesday and something is not right and I could have been weeks ago. Anyway roll on Tuesday till I see more.
Think we have everything ready for baby now except haven't built up pram, it's at my mums for superstitious reasons lol.
Are you all getting prepared? It's so much fun! Definitely enjoying it more this time as I know this is definitely my last!
Oh also have arranged a newborn baby shoot to get photos taken in first 14 days, can't wait!! Xxxx

I also can't believe I'm in the last few weeks, I'm 35 werks, so just ahead of you. That's too bad about your midwife not being competent, I hope everything is ok with the measurements.
I have been fludding ds2's closet with borrowed girl clothes lol and actually making some as I like to sew, it's funny, ds2 who is 2 years old won't even let me hold anything that resembles a girl clothing item up to him so I can see if I'm making it correctly lol.
I went for another fetal ECG and they said that one artery was still slightly enlarged, but that it's still within normal limits. I will have to take her for an echocardiogram between birth and 3 weeks just to be sure everything is ok.
I still have so much organizing to do! If this baby comes early I'm totally not prepared!
And I'm still in an absolute panic just thinking about the labour, I'm so afraid it will come on ultra quick again and I will have to drive myself to the hospital and I'm so terrified I won't receive the epidural for whatever reason, I seriously need to calm down!
I'm carrying much smaller and I'm thinner this pregnancy, just have a basketball in the front, and people who guess what I having all say boy, so there goes that theory out the window, I never believed in that one anyway...
I'm excited to have another year off with this little one (in Canada we get a year paid maternity leave) not sure what other parts of the world get, although I know the USA is only about 7 weeks or so, that would make it so hard, especially for the breastfeeding.
Anyway I hope you are all doing well, I have a feeling I will be the first one on this thread to go into labour! I'll keep you guys posted ;)
Hi well had a growth scan today at 34+2 and baby only in 3rd centile so they are going to induce me by 37 weeks if not before [emoji54]. Had to have a steroid injection today and going back for another tomorrow, also being monitored and scanned twice weekly to keep close eye. Baby is however healthy even though small and as I'm passed 34 weeks they say all should be fine. Maternity leave been brought forward and watch this space ladies our little girl be here within three weeks eek lol!!

It's amazing that other countries get so much paid maternity leave! I am jealous, US needs to take notes! There is no promised paid maternity leave here. It varies on your employer. I personally have never worked any where where they will pay you but I have some lucky friends that have.
I am 28 weeks today. Baby is very active all of the sudden, she must be taking up more room now. She is constantly dancing on my cervix. At the park today I had a panic moment where I literally thought her arm was in my vagina!
I'm a little sour thinking of how I'm already feeling done and thinking that I still have 12 weeks, give or take. Feeling big and getting hard to do everyday things, like bend over, and it will only get harder!

I got my c-section date today! Baby will be arriving on September 15, which is less than 4 weeks away! Yikes.

32.5 weeks. Placenta check... It moved. C section scheduled for october 2nd at 39 weeks. However i was hoping to have her at 38.. but not looking likely since she is right on my cervix per the ultrasound yet my cervix is long and thick suggesting no change..
So exciting!! That's my due date as well. Anybody having low amniotic fluid?
I'm not right now but I did with DS2. I was able to give birth naturally, but they did weekly non-stress tests starting at 34 weeks when they discovered my fluid was low. He was 8 days late and just fine!

So sorry Ive been MIA, i've been without a computer ...then we were back in the states for about a month and it's been soooo busy. GO GO GO!! We got back and my husband has been working nights and I work in the day but then he's been getting called in all the time. He is also scheduled to go to a school in Hawaii from August 29th-Sept 7th and possibly going to the field once he back. Blah. Im due on the 22nd of Sept... so, it's been chaos!

Back in May we had our anatomy scan, my husband found out if the baby is a boy or girl and I did not. So, I am still team green but at 35.4wks I am getting so anxious. I have prepared myself that babe is our 3rd girl, but overall I think waiting was the best choice for me. I start going to the big hospital in Seoul next week for visits... praying babe stays head down, my other girls flipped breach at 36-37 weeks, stinkers.
Hey girls well I'm at hospital this morning for placenta scan and ctg and then back Monday for growth scan and meeting with consultant about my induction which should be end of next week/start of following week. This means we will have our princess by start of September eek!! Our babies be here so soon!!!

It's so exciting our group will start having their babies anytime!!! I am just 28 weeks, starting my third trimester, it's gone so fast! We still haven't checked to see if it a girl or boy #3.

Good to hear from you Tarasue!! I've been getting tons of BH with this pregnancy too! I get them if my bladder is too full, when he decides to sleep head down, and for no good reason [emoji1]! I joke that he is going to fall out when go time comes [emoji38]!

Here all is well, although I'm tired of being pregnant. I am so dreading my c-section. I was at the dentist, lying in the chair and all of a sudden I felt really panicked, thinking of my upcoming c-section... I'll be so glad when it's all over and I'll never have another baby again! Soon my family will be complete :)
Can any of you explain this pain please.. I didnt have it at all with my other two.. Granted i was much younger.. Its like a pressure when i stand and walk in my pelvis.. Its a pulling/pressure sensation really. Its really bad in my bikini line area.. It makes it really uncomfortable to walk.. Hoping someone says thats probably the baby head engaged lol.. My dr's arent being helpful with info because they say i shouldnt want to go into labor before my c section date anyhow.. Cant get much info from them :(
Someone give me some hope lol.. I genuinely am a bit worried if its not her head that i am experiencing a few different symptoms that may be associated with pelvis instability if its not her head... Per the dr graph and ultrasound done she was at -3 station.. And the pain wasnt there yet.. Popped up the next day as i started losing what i thought was bits of plug...so if someone who has felt their baby engage could say "that sounds familiar" that would be nice lol
Sorry Bura, I can't tell you if it means baby has engaged... Could it be you have some pelvic pain caused by the pregnancy hormones? I can understand that you are worried about going into labor. But you should contact the hospital as soon as you notice any signs of labor/contraction, so that they can perform an emergency c-section. It doesn't mean you will be whisked away in a panic like on TV, but any c-section done within 8 (?) hours is considered an emergency c-section. Good luck!
I just wanted to have something positive to go on instead of something negative i guess..
I dont fear early labor, i would prefer it. I was hoping to be nice and ready by 36-37 weeks again to be honest..i dont like the idea of going to 38-39 weeks..call me selfish if you will and maybe thats what it is but i am extremely depressed thinking i have 6 weeks to go when last night i was so uncomfortable i didnt sleep at all, got up to pee with a great struggle, tripped thanks to the pinched nerve in my back and the pubic bone pain causing me to go weak in the knees, fall, and peed all over myself instead of making it to the bathroom.
Tears as i write this, but if all of that is normal then i dont want it to last any longer than it absolutely has to and if that makes me selfish so be it. However this baby has her own plans and with no cervical changes at all the one time i have been checked and what the ultrasound still shows as unchanged, i guess im meant to crawl into bed for 6 weeks and suffer through it. No i dont think its dramatic at this point to say suffering, i guess if i was better at explaining the amount of pain and not just discomfort im in anyone would understand better...just incapable of doing so i guess.

Well I'm going in this Friday at 36+5 to be induced as baby measuring small still and they feel it's better to get her out where we can take care of her! Can't believe I will have my baby girl by the weekend!! Exciting but nervous too! Xx

Bura, I'm with you honey, I'm 36 weeks and so tired of being pregnant too. Although I'm trying to tell myself that I should enjoy this, as it is my last pregnancy, but realistically I'm not enjoying it at all :worry: I'm also dreading my c-section and the newborn phase. So I guess you're damned if you do and damned if you don't ;) I am looking forward to seeing my baby though, but not the night feeds, the having to take care of a baby in addition to 3 other kids, my lack of freedom etc. I have to start sorting the baby clothes and everything else that needs to be done before baby comes, but I'm so tired from not sleeping at night and from being pregnant in general!

Thank you claire.. I think trying to stay positive has taken its toll on me, too. You are def not alone.. thats just right... I am excited and look forward to holding my newest baby but i can officially say i dont enjoy pregnancy. I know its all worth it and that she is going to be amazing..but my gosh the process...

Claire- It is hard to resist, but if I were to find out, I had this fantastical way I'd want to find out. Ya know, a very intimate way and then my husband would be there for me for the likely hood it's another girl, so I could grieve, cry and scream. However, realistically that is not our life because we are stationed here in Korea. He is constantly being called in to work, or called/texted about work, the mission, change in the schedule, and stupid soldiers... that I don't really have him. The only time they will ever understand him turning his phone off or being unreachable would be while I am in labor. It's so sad but true and I would totally resent him if I asked him to tell me and he just told me, even-though I asked (because I have determined I am crazy lady now, lol). . Overall not knowing has really helped in my situation. I am anxious and excited for the surprise and so scared that my GD will take over. ... I also still look at my ultrasound pictures trying to determine what the hell I am looking at, lol. But, as we've already determined... I am now certifiable. lol
Burakoam- I had that awful/torturous pain with both of my girls. I was in tears just because I couldn't sleep and nothing would help the pain! Hang in there! WE ARE CLOSER TO BE DONE than we were many months ago, that's what Im telling myself. I am now 36+1, and I have gone past 40wks with my girls (41+3 with DD1), so thinking about how I STILL HAVE A MONTH LEFT!!! Which could easily be 5weeks or more and my shirts aren't fitting over my belly , anymore! It's sooo daunting! I don't think the last part of pregnancy for most women is enjoyable.
I also totally agree with Claire, too... I am thinking about how how much less time I will have with the baby with having my other 3 kiddos running around and trying to manage it all! That is the part I am pretty worried about. I will feel even more 'shut in' here in Korea, too. We already get the crazy looks when we are all out in public here and then to add a babe... oh man! Plus, we can't go to many of the stores/restaurants here because we are just too many and they are made for like matchbox people and def not made for strollers. lol

Bre if you dont mind me asking how big were your girls? Thank you for all that.. I am sure claire needed to hear it just as bad as i did.... I want to be positive so badly but its a big ol fake show at this point.. No real sympathy from DH or family either because "i wanted to be pregnant" LOL no.. I just wanted to give my DH a biological baby and pregnancy was needed to create the baby so i mean... I never looked forward to this despite what they all think.
Yes! No problem! DD1 arrived at 41+3, 7lbs 1oz 19.5in. I had to go for a growth scan for her because I was measuring 2 weeks behind and she is still my petite girl. DD2 arrived at 40+5 7lbs 13oz 20in, she can wear most of her sisters clothes, lol!
I totally understand where you are coming from! Just because we decided to have another baby did not mean I was going to be some super happy pregnant lady. lol, sorry! I also somewhat understand wanting to give your husband a biological child...
My 7-year-old BOY is biologically from a previous on-and-off relationship and he left when I was 2 months pregnant. My husband was a very good friend I had known while I was dating the 'sperm donor'. He deployed and came back and wanted to pursue me even though he knew I was pregnant (to make a long story short). We have no contact with my sons 'donor', my husband is on the birth certificate and they are super close- he is 100% his father and I am a lucky woman. My husband couldn't be there for his birth and missed the first 6months of his life because he was sent back to the states (we were both active duty stationed in Germany)... This is part of why I wanted a boy so badly... it's so awful to read this back, because I am beyond grateful for my husband, our son and their relationship but I so badly want us to have a son, too- biologically and for my son to not be surrounded by girls... We took a 5 generation picture (of my paternal side) and my grandfather and my son were the only boys out of 9 people. lol Sorry for such long posts!
Anyways, I hope baby comes soon but toooo soon and healthy!
