The theory is that lh and hcg are like twin hormones. An opk can pick up hcg but a hpt cant pick up lh. Its certainly not exact as many women experience an lh surge b4 af is due (I did one cycle - got all excited for nothing). Its more just a possibility if you see a line getting darker on opks then you MIGHT end up seeing a bfp or you MIGHT not. I'm only poas because I'm an addict lol and have no need to keep them :) and its way to early to give me any indication lol but just out of curiosity I thought I'd test up to 6dpo just to see what happens :)

I'm turning into a poas addict as well but only have 2 frer's left so thought I'd use an opk! Lol. It had the faintest of faint lines but I gather you need to see a positive opk if you wanted to start getting a bit excited.
I don't know why I keep wanting to test all throughout the day - I 90% know that I'm out but that little 10% of me thinks 'but what if'.......

I know exactly what you mean!! I was testing twice sometimes 3 times a day just in case 6 hours had made that little bit of difference lol.

Oh and its my understanding but I could be wrong that you'd have to use opks over several days to see if the line got darker not necessarily positive

Trying to symptom spot at 3dpo [emoji23] some light cramps and twinges and zero appetite. Wish I could go to sleep and wake up in 5 days lol!

I am 9 DPO today and BFN. There was no shadow line, nothing. And I was sure I was feeling some symptons :sad:

So sorry kkkk :( Hopefully its just too soon - implantation might not have happened yet there's still time

I so cheated on my LE last night! Out to dinner with my girlfriends and we had Chinese and wine and vodkas and even a tequila sunrise to finish the night off!! Then somehow I ended up with the leftovers and had Chinese for lunch and now dinner - Omg!!
Back on the bandwagon 2mrw :wink:
