Yes I cannot go near chocolate or coffee, anything spicy, red meat, fatty stuff (except crisps) or too much tomato. I am managing to eat more now - but tends to be quite bland stuff like a large bowl of rice with a few veg/sometimes a tiny bit of tuna stirred through. I love crisps/chips and could eat them all day. For the first few weeks I struggled to eat or drink anything.
Despite my lack of eating, the amount of carby stuff I am actually eating means I've put on quite a bit of weight. Is anybody else showing yet? I am 10 weeks and have an obvious tummy. Very annoying as I really wanted to hide it longer...but I guess it is my 4th pregnancy so probably a lot of that is my body remembering! I am also a very small person with a short torso so tend to have the hugest bumps that stick right out. With ds3 my neighbour guessed at 6 weeks!!!
CONGRATULATIONS XX!!!! I knew it was a girl - just everything sounded like a typical girl pregnancy. I know it isn't nice to think about but the two women I know who had twins early on and lost one, had girls. I think because girls are the 'stronger sex' so will hang on in there through tough times. You must be overjoyed. So happy for you and your hubby!
And Congratulations to anybody I missed - was it you Butterflies? I don't manage to get online much. So busy with the boys - getting pretty scared about adding another little one to the mix!
Congrats xx amazing news xx
Xx I hope u go and buy lots of pink today!
It honestly doesn't feel real !!

Exactly 7 weeks today :) one baby with a strong heartbeat...she said i ovulated from the left and placenta looks like its forming on the left so hopefully thats a good sign..harmony test booked for the 29th and il have the results the week after by email...awwww sooo excited ladies xx
That's lovely news fiveboys...such a relief to see the heartbeat! Incidentally, how are you guys managing to work out which side you ovulated from? I'd never heard of this kind of thing being a potential gender predictor...so after reading it so much on here off I went along to my 12 week scan a couple of weeks ago and then asked the sonographer during the scan. He said it was impossible to know which side you ovulate from and kind of made me feel silly for asking! So it looks as though I missed out on picking up that info from the scan which kind of sucks...
Don't worry I wish I didn't know lol
My 6 weeks scan showed I ovulated from right as apparently it was that ovary that was supporting baby until placenta takes over. But there was no visible placenta on that scan. I have had a lot of cramps on my left even now at 9 weeks so maybe baby had changed sides since I was scanned lol

This is good news! Let's now wait and see what the nub shows! The best gestation for nub guessing is from 12w6d-13w6d.
I'm hoping and praying that everyone gets their GD! Thank you ladies for all of your kind words and support! I'm dumping off my pink and blue baby dust (I'm still convinced I have loads [emoji23]!)
