Beautiful children kitkat!
Ohhhh Kitkat he looks so chuffed with his little sister. So glad she is sleeping better for you. I can bare broken sleep in 3 hour blocks. Less than that is tough bickies. xx My caesarean is 15.05.15, so 4 weeks this Friday. I started Maternity Leave yesterday, a bit early but I've been having vertigo which was the signal I needed to stop. Bit disappointed but oh well.
Its sweet primal as he really wanted another brother so hopefully your big guy will feel the same when his little brother comes along! My DS who wanted a sister is pretty dis-interested in her!! Nice for you to relax though I hear you money wise!!... I had three weeks off and it did me so much good, long naps, last minute chores and lots of coffee dates! ( mind you my two were at school, which was a big treat!!). I was out of hospital after 2 nights and walking going toilet after 8 hrs this c section deft. my best by far!! I think it being planned and me having been through the process made it so much better. I'm sure you will be the same. And like the last pregnancy I have so much more energy with the baby out not in.
Blessed how is your wee girl? Xx
shes so precious KitKat! How much did she weigh and how long was she?

Really, time flies!
How was it a year ago we were all ttc and swaying?
little eliana is doing great and is 3 weeks today. All of the babies are so precious. I was wondering about stephk, she found out she was pregnant days before me. hoping she updates with a picture :).
I also wonder how mum is doing.
Robin your girl is adorable. Happy 1 month to her.
Elsie! OMG that was our first choice (followed by Alice) if this baby was a girl. Would have been either Elsie Jean or Alice Jean (Jean was my Nanna's name). I do hope StephK comes back & posts a pic.
Robin I can't even deal with how cute your little girl is.
LaVie how are you feeling now, is the GD getting any easier?
Hey guys, steph is going to come back and post!
Okay after 2 good nights I'm back to having a party animal at night minus the good times!
She was awake from 9pm-5am for the past three nights. I have been waking her during the day every 2hrs for a feed and to make sure she doesn't sleep all day long, getting burps up. During the day she is good as gold hardly fusses. Night time she is awake, alert, fussy, uncomfy but not hysterical. Suggestions? I am so teary today!!! X
Is it gas? My little one has gas and gets fussy bc of it. We use infacol for her tummy and I do tummy time massage on her too. Seems to help. Also lots of burping.
It seems like she has her days/nights mixed up. I would suggest making a nightie routine (if you haven't already).
Mine goes something like this:
Bath
Massage
tight swaddle
White noise
Lights out
Hold until sleep (mine likes to suck on soother).
Then I lay her down.
Longest I've gotten is 7 hrs. But keep in mind an actual full night sleep for newborns is generally 5 hrs. Example- midnight to 5 am.
My best suggestion is only do white noise at night.
Make it different than day time activities..
Hope this helps?
Oh and i forgot to add you can get apps on your phone that have noises to soothe baby. Works like a charm!
Thanks Robin! I rushed out and brought infacol. I did use this a little with DS2 do you use it before every feed or just the bedtime one?
I'm sure its trapped wind built up over the day as well as day/night confusion.
I have Downloaded a white noise app and she seems to really like this which I have added to bedtime routine. Fingers crossed we get a better night XX
I give her it when she seems extra fussy and I've tried everything else before. So more or less like 1 time per day.. but I think you can use it up to 3. Usually she goes poop after (couple hrs) give it and feels better!
I hope this works... I know how stressful it can be with a fussy baby.
Thanks Robin! I gave it to her at that last bedtime feed 7.30 ish and already we are having a better night. She has slept for three hours and only woken at 10.45pm and 2.30pm. MASSIVE improvement! At 10.45pm her tummy seemed really sore and she was cranky but I managed to settle her. Thanks sooo much for your input, I'm sure that white noise helps too Xx
Glad to help kit kat!
I'm kinda bummed bc I am 6 weeks postpartum and not breastfeeding. .... got my period already. Omg like already! Urgh ... did not miss it! .
Robin2014 sometimes breastfeeding doesn't help I got my period back at 6 weeks post partum too & DS2 was a huge, hungry baby exclusively breastfed til he was 12 months old (actually 15 months but that was because he chose not to touch the food I tried to give him). In fact he is STILL breastfed at night (yes, I still have milk at 36 weeks pregnant!!) So the 2 aren't always related. It's really shitty though!!

Sam, good luck on your TTC journey to conceive pink , I'm sure rooting for you XX
Hi girls sorry for the TMI but I've been having light pink to light red streaks of blood just when I wipe for 2 days now. I told the OBGYN & while she didn't seem concerned she did say I may go into labor early. I've never really considered this to be a possibility. My other 2 kids went to 41 and 42 weeks. Has anyone had bleeding before? What was your experience regarding early labor etc??

Sorry primal not much help here as this never happened to me. Do you think its your mucous plug? How many weeks are you? Xx
Ya that's my thoughts as well mucas plug. Unfortunately my babies generally go overdue! 😕
Sneaking in here ;) I only remember this happening with my first child. I had bloody streaks while wiping for a few days before I went into labour. Wishing you the best of luck Robin.
Yeah I have 2 best friends who are doulas & they both suggested it is my show coming slowly. So I may have dilated a centimeter or 2 & stopped. The bleeding seemed to stop yesterday. The first time I didn't ever see my show it went when my waters broke. My second I lost it all in one blob (eww sorry) a day or 2 before labor. I'm hoping it stops. My OBGYN has been fantastic agreeing to a lotus delivery (even though she has never done one!) & has keyed up her anesthetist to fixing the ECG dots to my back & stats probe to my toe to facilitate unimpeded skin-to-skin. I really don't want that compromised by an emergency labour, which would mean I wouldn't necessarily have my own OBGYN. AND I have a maternity photo shoot on 3rd May which I am desperate to make!

I had bloody show in the few weeks leading up to being induced. I think it could mean labour tomorrow or labour in a month. Lol
How many weeks are you now?
37 today. I've got too much to worry about ATM, DS1 is going through major anxiety (has had it since birth to varying degrees). Hard times here. I really don't need to have a baby any earlier than I have to!! Lol.

I had my membranes swept today, which hurt like hell but i knew it would so i can say for the most part it wasnt too bad. but my doc and everyone else has reccomended sex before i have to be induced next Wed. To try and start labor naturally and me and husband just had sex but it was literally the worst ive ever had and im sure for him too, i just kept pushing him out and tightening up i so didnt want it at all. Thats never happened with me before, i feel like crap and like i was so unsatisfying for him as well :(
