I did see yours Grease, and if I had to put my money on it, I would say girl too. And you will keep telling yourself it's a boy until you hear otherwise, I did the same :) wishing you luck x

16 and half weeks and for the first time, looking in the mirror, my tummy is doing very small waves, little one is so active! And it feels like she's all to the left because that's where I feel the movements and the left side of my tummy is harder. I guess I'm just happy to be entering that phase where I don't feel sick anymore and I can finally feel and see baby move. It's so reassuring, and so much fun! :) Wishing you girls and your bubbas a good day x
21 weeks and had my first bout of ms. WTH?! Woke up around 3am feeling very nauseous and got progressively worse throughout the day to the point I left work early. Has this happened to anyone else? If no better tomorrow I'll pop to the doctor and see if I can rule out anything else. To be honest, I'm not sure if I'd rather be told it's viral or ms. At least viral is done and out of the way in a couple of days...
i am 17 weeks pregnant and just found out i am expecting our third boy. at first i was upset but after thinking about it i realized that this new is not shocking at all. i feel like i had false hope of it being a girl.. its so hard to not daydream about a girl, that it creates a false sense of hope. i am surprisingly not taking it bad.. i think it was harder on my second. anyways, we are thinking of trying again in a few year but will prob go high tech. i can't handle the whole not knowing thing. fairly enough i didn't not sway super intensely this time around, so i guess it is what it is. i have been trying to get into boy vibes again, and i know i will get excited in a few days. anyone have a mistake boy ultrasound at 17 weeks?? lol just thought i may try to keep dream alive.
I am sorry Tand. I wish I could say I had mistake boy guesses but mine were all 100% at 12 weeks.
So cool Aidansmum that you can finally feel movement!
I totally hear you about the bulb end!!! I was looking more into nubs and it depends more on the end not the shaft so much itself.
So the girl nub is straight and flat at the end and usually has a fork in it -- like it looks like 2 parallel lines at the end. Where as a boy is generally shorter and more round or bulb-like you said.
I was comparing pics and my boys are all bulbs at the end with bulges ontop.
This one (you can see way more clearly in the actual pic, don't know why it doesn't come out as well on computer) is completely long and flat at the end and has a total fork, like you can see the line between the 2 white lines.
I guess I feel good about that cause its nothing like my boys.
Also, this baby is much thinner than my boys. Its neck is not nearly as thick and its head is smaller. It was measuring long, but its very thin and "danty" like which makes me more hopeful for girl.
I started spotting again today so I am going to the clinic tomorrow and hopefully they will want me to go see my Dr on Thursday so I can get another u/s to see where this bleeding is coming from. I am so tired of this not being taken serious!! I am at the point where I am seriously thinking of packing our bags and go back home to the States and leave hubby here in Africa alone! If they don't start monitoring me more I will have no choice :/ Ughhh 13 weeks pregnant and have not enjoyed this pregnancy AT ALL :(
PFP......my little girl was by far the most active inside of all three kids and the shyest about showing gender! I hope that the next 6 weeks fly by for you....and that your little miss is growing strong.
Grease - I really hope that stops for you and they can figure out what's going on!! That's always so scary and frustrating when they don't seem to be doing anything! Good luck!!
Dreams & Tand - Sorry you heard boy! :( Glad they seem healthy. I know that you guys will love your boy no matter what but I pray that your hearts find peace and closure!! It's so hard to always think about and dream about! Hugs!
Tand - My DS2's ultrasound was super obvious even to me and I STILL looked up to see if any boy ones ended up being wrong! Wondered if by chance it could be the cord or something...though it was way obvious it was a penis. Even dreamed of a surprise girl at delivery. I think girl ones have a much higher chance of being wrong though :(
PCP- that's great that things look really hopeful! No idea on nub guess. If I see one pointed out and obvious to me I can see them but honestly the one you posted of DS3 looks like a leg to me! Lol. Probably good, that way I can't miss-guess for people or obsess about my own. I even find myself looking at my 10 wk ultrasound at the end of the spine wondering if it could be a nub!! Silliness!!
Bunny - after you said that I remember with my first boy, about half-way through I had to leave work for one of the first times ever in the afternoon because my stomach was hurting and I was nauseous. I don't know if it was MS or flu because I went home, vomited and layed down for a few hours and then I was better. That was it.
