I guess that might make sense. I'm not sure about the fasting though, Kaiser doesn't say there is a need for it either. I'm not sure why my primary Dr. would recommend that I fast.
What else do you think they should test? I had a CBC w/o differential, FSH, TSH, Prolactin and LH done as well.
