Congrats roe! He is so cute and love the name!!
Ok I officially want this baby out lol. I'm tired of worrying about movement everyday. I wanted to go take some photos on wednesday since my step son will be here, but I dunno if I want to wait that long to try and get things moving. My hips and pelvis hurt, it's a huge pain to get out of bed, I can't drink much fluid or I may as well camp out all day at the bathroom. SO DONE lol.
I feel a bit crampy and I have a midwife appt on Tuesday. I'm really tempted to get a sweep, but afraid that if it works I won't make it to the photos wednesday haha. What to doooooooooo?! Midwife is okay starting things early for me since I'm VBAC and she'd prefer to see me go by 40W.
Anyone get membrane sweeps? How many before it worked?
Congrats Roe!
I also had our little Girl today and she is precious! I’ll update more when I. An think straight. Soooo sleepy.

Im having a sweep done at 38 weeks hun..10 days time and counting... ive had them done on my last 5 pregnancies and apart from 1 they all worked within 24 hours.. as soon as i have a sweep i go for long hilly walks then a hot curry, more walking and bounce on my ball watching tv and from the first pain theyr always here between 3 and 6 hours..fx this one will be the same otherwise im having a proper induction 2 days later x
Hi! Just chiming in to say we are considering swaying again down the track. I'd love for my baby girl to have a sister. Hubby has given the go ahead for #6 if I really really want another baby lol. Not for at least another 18 months though...this last pregnancy was awful, not in a hurry to go through that again haha
Congratulations to everyone who has had their babies :)
just popped in from the december group and thought id answer this.. we swayed last year for baby #6 to give our daughter a sister, we had 4 boys followed by 1 girl and i really hated her being the only girl :( im not in any way slating families who feel complete after 1 of the opposite gender but for me it was not going to work, i always wished i had a sister(s) growing up and my mum was the same so i felt really determined to give my daughter what we never had.. it worked and we now have 2 little girls
i should add we want a big family :D and my 4 boys are so close that i really want to give my girls what the boys already have. we swayed pink again with this baby and our fingers are crossed it has worked (team green) we will also sway pink for all future babies too, after spending 4 years convinced i couldn't successfully carry a girl i will happily take as many girls as i can!!
i really think you know when you are done, if you dont feel that way then id keep the option open :) you only regret the children you dont have, never the ones you do.. good luck with whatever you decide to do xx
Huge congrats Roe! Palmer is so precious! I love the pic of your boys and DH looking at him [emoji4]! You can see the love they have for him- it just warms my heart!
I’m glad the induction went well for you, and you were able to avoid a C-Section. Enjoy your sweet baby!
