For what it's worth, we did all the testing and only one thing came back abnormal and my ob said that still may not have been the cause. It's hard not knowing why, and you can drive yourself crazy going over every detail/day/choice you made. Hang in there.

I didn't know about d&c and d&e swaying, but I guess it's too late! Give yourself time, ask for testing if you want it, and I hope you will have better news soon.

18 weeks! You poor thing. I am lucky it was so early for me, I can only imagine how difficult it was to lose a baby at 16/18 weeks.

I've only just had a miscarriage and am going through the high/low swings daily still (MC was almost 2 weeks ago now). The first few days post MC I was just kind-of numb and seemed to be coping ok then when the bleeding began to ease off, my hormones levels dropped and I just didn't feel pregnant anymore. Then it all sort of hit me! I seem to have alternating good/bad days atm hoping to even out soon....

I bought a personalised sway plan earlier this week so that I'll have something concrete to focus on and am hoping to TTC again as soon as possible after mid-Jan. This will all depend on what Atomic recommends about timing though... My Dr has given me the ok after my first cycle due to medical reasons. I kind-of wish I could start trying again now because I feel like I have to keep living through the loss atm and can't move on yet.

Thank you Aussiechic, I have been horribly sick since last Saturday so having a miscarriage in the middle of it all has been rotten. I still feel sick from the flu I have had and lousy from the miscarriage. Maybe time will warp speed for the next few weeks and this will all be behind us soon enough.

Update on me...it seems AF is on the way (only 3.5 weeks after my miscarriage). I was expecting to have to wait longer than this for my cycles to resume. Most days I'm doing better now...focusing on the future and swaying for a little girl (this has proven tough over Christmas).

Another update....false alarm about the AF! Seems my body's completely out of wack since the MC... Will let you know when my first cycle happens. Crossing fingers for BFP early in the new year!! xx
