I haven't had my NT yet, but I am 11 weeks today and see my ob tomorrow for the first time. I will ask him for a nub shot because he has a machine, but I know at 11 weeks its not too reliable, so i'll also ask at my 12w Nt scan. If I can get away with it, i might book the NT scan for 13 weeks, not sure if thats allowed though.
Has your pregnancy been any different this time? My two boy pregnancies were different from eachother, but this one is VERY different to both of them.
This time i'm not sick at all, and was very sick with my 2 boys. This time I have no acne, and I did really bad with the boys. I am also very high energy this time, where with the boys I felt SO tired all the time. FX it means something!

Yes, this time is totally different for me, too...
For first 3 kids, I never had nausea, but this time, some nausea & a very upset stomach.
I COULD NOT GET ENOUGH of Classen pickles for the other 3 pregnancies, but this time I won't touch them. I am IN LOVE with tangerines in juice. And most fruits.
I haven't gained any weight yet with this pregnancy, but had definitely gained weight by now for the others. Lots of food aversions...even stuff I normally love.
I'm hoping the differences mean something!!
Sounds like you've got a lot of differences going on, too...crossing fingers & toes for both of us!! ;) XO

agree, I dont think each symptom means boy or girl for everyone but I do think the differences for yourself personally may mean something.
By now I had lost 4kg with my boys, this time I have gained 4kg.
I am off a lot of foods I ate with the boys, and find myself craving sweet things which is very unusual for me, I usually prefer savoury. I get hungry but then dont feel like anything we have in the house, which is interesting and different to the boys. Also loving fruit at the moment but I did with ds1 too.

I think you're right...I'm hoping the difference in symptoms from previous pregnancies means something!!!
Ugh. The waiting really is the hardest part!!!

yours is such a girly nub, and by 14 weeks I would expect far more rise and definition for a boy. My money is on a girl for you.

Thanks...actually 14 weeks will be when I get my next scan.
Hoping I get the results back from the blood work this week or early next.

Wow!!! I just read up on you a few days ago and saw that you had a mc a few months ago. And then I came upon the post. You've been one of the special ladies on this site for me throughout my ttc journey. I'm so glad your pregnant again and it looks like a little lady may be in your future. This made my day. Congrats to you!!!

I'm so glad you're still here...and sorry I didn't have the courage to stick around when things fell apart. It was just so hard.
BUT...I'm back now & I cant wait to catch up!!! How's that gorgeous new man??? Do you have pictures of him up??? I LOVE his name!!! In fact, we might steal it if this turns out to be a boy!! ;)
