If I remember correctly Atomic got her daughter having coffee with cream and sugar every morning--I think she's mentioned that it made it easier to avoid having a real meal.

I did! June 11!! Thank you!
And it's the best thing that's ever happened to me :) In fact, I feel so in a groove with motherhood that I'm planning my blue sway even harder because I want all the babies ♡_♡
[QUOTE=XXforhubby;853873]Thank you!! That really helps to hear 🤗

I used to drink it occasionally with creamer before my DD.
If this helps your decision: Intermittent Fasting, which I had been doing for years, says people can get away with 50 calories of whatever in their coffee without it being considered breaking the fast.

Adding cream or milk to coffee has ALWAYS been allowed.
Technically you should not have anything sweetened in the morning but this was a cheat that I personally was not willing to give up. I had real sugar plus milk or cream in my coffee and did still get a DD doing that. Now that is not an endorsement and I do think it's better to not have the sugar, just that I did.
Stevia is supposed to sway blue. I doubt it does (this is one of those "alkaline" ideas that has no scientific support) but jsut letting you know that.
I honestly do not have the info I would need to know for sure if skipping breakfast is more or less important for those with PCO-tendencies. Just honestly don't. I DO know that some data seems to indicate that going longer between meals may improve your insulin response, though, and I do recommend that all swayers with PCO-tendencies do at least try to push breakfast back a bit. But it doesn't have to be till 2 in the afternoon and it isn't supposed to be an exercise in torture, and above all else it is NOT some kind of magic bullet. That's all I'm trying to get across here.
Thanks Atomic and everyone for your responses - I think I'll probably keep some amount of cream (maybe switch to whole milk?) and sweetener (maybe just switch to Spenda or aspartame?) in my morning coffee - it makes it easier to not eat breakfast, and the coffee is good for pink swayers AND for giving me the energy I need to manage two boys!!!
Cream can be a very excellent thing to keep having on LE though. It's just a shot of fat, which a lot of people have a really tough time getting enough of, without any carbs in it really so if you were on the alt. diet and trying to eliminate unneccesary carbs you would really be having nothing that "counts" for blood sugar in the morning.
