I'm popping on this thread only because our first attempt will be end of October (if 28 day/14-15 day luteal phase cycles hold steady for me), and I'm now on cd4 of this last NOT TRYING cycle...and I'm just so impatient! This is my first month ttc. We have a DD of 16 years and a 20 month old DS.
I started charting this month and I'm on CD12. I usually O between CD 14 - 18.

I need some advice (I'm going to post this in the Sept 2ww thread too). So I got a +opk this morning and I'm doing SMEP. The problem is that I bd the last two days in a row (got carried away with DH 😄). With SMEP, you're supposed to bd EOD until +opk. Once you get a positive, you bd for 3 days in a row, skip a day and then bd one more time. So, should I bd for the next 3 days in a row like SMEP says or should I just bd once more, or something else??
I would BD tonight, then take the next night off, then BD again. I would then continue to BD E3D or E4D throughout your cycle, in case O gets delayed.
