Gotcha! Just trying to be clear for anyone who later on, read this thread! Very interesting info! :)

I know this thread is a few months old, but I came across this from google and just thought I'd add my input if that's ok :) I know for sure I ovulated on my right side for my last baby because of the corpus luteum, and I'm pretty sure I remember the corpus luteum being on the right for my first baby too, and they're both boys. This is a very interesting thread... I've also read some of Ramzi's theory and wonder if the ovulation side has something to do with the side of implantation or if it can implant anywhere? We're about to make our girl attempt, so hopefully it works out :) Of course I'd still be happy either way!
I think that's def. possible!! We just don't know enough to say for sure!! Several of us have ovulated from the "wrong" side and gotten babies, so we know that it's not always 100% accurate.
Since this thread got bumped up, I'd like to reiteriate that I did indeed O on my right and am having a GIRL.
I truly believe what ovary drops the egg has nothing to do with gender of the baby, just the cirumstances that may come into play (such as right sided ovaulations tend to mean you could be more highly fertile, etc, and those things are swaying blue, NOT the ovary itself determing gender.)
I agree completely!! Well said! :)
:agree: Zanacal has a thread on this somewhere, she had quite bad pain on the right side the month she conceived and did indeed O from the left as confirmed by ultrasound. GIRL!!
I've had scans the last 3 cycles which has revealed I ovulated on my left side each time. There's nothing wrong with my right side... So they don't always alternate each cycle. It's all about the biggest follicle... More fertiliser on my left side! :-)
This seems interesting but I know not accurate.. I get O pains from the left side.. I don't know what that means
