I think it's pretty obvious that you have spent years on IG...drama, drama, drama....we all came here to get away from that!! Along with the condescending attitude from all IGers that they know everything!!

Atomic and NBP do massive amounts of research and work for us ladies and we have had SO many successful sways here in the short time this site has been running. They may not be doctors but they sure know their stuff....working in the medical field myself I also know a huge amount of doctors who don't know what they are talking about!

I wanted to say thank you for the post. I didn't know that anything other than Ericsson existed besides pgd which I just can't afford to do. I looked up the clinic and requested information. Even if I decide not to try it at least I can say I knew about it. So I really appreciate taking the time to answer my questions about. And I hope you are able to get the daughter you are hoping for. Yes, this is an option but obviously not for everyone....so instead of being insulted I will keep my "Sales pitching" mouth closed!! Not what I intended at all and am shocked at the responses to this!!! I am only here for support and really didn't expect others to tear down what I did or didn't do!! the problem with internet forums is that it's easy to read more extreme emotion/harshness in text that is not intended, or to read and get the wrong idea of what was originally intended. Not only that, but it's an emotive issue so I think it's easy to be more sensitive when otherwise something would have been ignored.

honestly, I think we're all on the same side here - we all want (ourselves) and other members to get the best chance possible at getting their desired gender. It's not worth bickering over as that just damages the integrity of what we're saying.

what's right for some won't be right for others - and things that one fertile lady can do and still conceive with might be too extreme for others and prevent them getting pregnant at all. I think that's the message that some of the admins are trying to get across.



5GB - I'm sorry you haven't felt as welcome here as you should when you joined and posted with such enthusiasm.
I do think some admins are right to be cautious as some on here are quite vulnerable (their duty to protect them a bit) and when told something that sounds "too good to be true" they might get very hurt if it turns out to be just a troll (sadly, the internet has made us too suspicious sometimes too).

You're more than welcome to stay and keep posting, and I hope you do and consider it a fresh start. Any new information that we can get will help everyone else on here by giving them another option that WILL be right for some! (TBH, I wish they did that in this country too as it's something I'd consider in the future if this sway hasn't worked).

Just wanted to wish you all the best. I hope you get your DD. I did IUI with sperm sorting also. Mine was done at The Fertility Institute of New Orleans. They time the IUI for 30-36 hours after trigger shot, so a little different timing than yours. I know a lot of clinics are starting to do the IUI at the 40-44 hour mark, though, so there must be good reason for it.

It took us 4 cycles, but we're finally pg (with twins) through this procedure. Hoping at least one is a girl!
