I'm shattered of course but we are both doing great! Just waiting for daddy to get the car seat then we can head home :)

Had a horrendous friday. Had a flu jab, followed by a filling. later that evening I was throwing up. 6 weeks post baby and weak pelvic floors means every time I threw up I kept peeing myself. Sorry TMI!!! Made me feel like a disaster. Been a bit better today. DH hasn't been great either but he is one of those that as soon as you are ill suddenly has the same thing. Men!!
Anyway I need to get to bed...
Oh no pinga! I do that too sometimes when I get sick :0( the joys! A good reminder to is all to keep squeezing!!

Lily is doing great, breast feeding is going ok but my milks not come in yet so she's wanting to feed quite a lot, nipples are a little tender when she first latches but that's about it.
Our birth was very straight forward! Had a sweep at 12pm on Thursday by a student midwife, started getting very irregular contractions straight away almost, I kept finding that they would get more regular if I was resting, and almost stop when I was up and about weird!
By 8pm they were 15mins apart so called dp's mum to be on call for ds2 she decided to come over then and stay so she was definatly there.
Went off to bed at about10:30, laying down the contractions got to about 7mins apart and were quite moderate so we called labour ward to warn them I'd be in that night, at 12:30 we called back to say they we're 5mins apart they told us to come in. From home to hospital (6mins) I had 3 contractions lol we got in and settled was given gas and air and examined was 5-6cm and from there on my contractions came thick and fast! I didn't have any other pain reliefe I did get to a stage where I asked for some but I was just about pushing then so no chance!
I was up on my knees leaning over the head board the midwife said 'oh I'll just get a pad as your waters haven't gone' and right on que I have a contraction my body pushes and pop lol next contraction her head was born and then her body.
It was all so quick in the end :)
When she was born she looked just like ds2! Like his double!! Now she's looking more like mummy :)

Awww Kell, what a little doll!, shes gorgeous and so tiny! makes my ds3 look HUGE lol. 3rd babies do come quick, my labour was 2 n half hours. Many congrats, ur dh looks so smitten with his baby girl :-) enjoy the newborn cuddles, they dont last long!! x x x

How's everyone doing?
Beck is doing well, feeding every 4 hours now. Last feed about 10.30pm and then again at 4.30am, be great when we can stretch that last feed to 6.30am. Great that I get to go back to bed though after the 4.30am feed as still takes 45-60 mins to feed him so by the time I'm back in bed and asleep it's gone 6am, if it wasn't the school hols I would have to stay awake to get the boys to school...I'm LOVING no school run! :)
We went away to The Cotwolds in the caravan, had a lovely time.
The holidays seem to be flying by...hoping it gets abit more chilled as its been full on with stuff since we got back off holiday!

Babymad, glad ds4 is doing well and feeding good too! I hear u about the school run, what bliss lol (apart from when they argue) Ds3 is sleeping much better now he is on the mend, bed at 10pm, fed at 7am, back to sleep until 10am!! first layin ive had in a while lol.
Shame so many people cant make our meetup, think its only 3 of us now!! x x

Babymad- Beck's sleeping/ feeding is amazing, I'd be so pleased if my baby behaves this well. Still loving the name Beck, would it be too weird to have 3 baby Becks on this thread?! Seems like the only name DH is happy with at the moment. Will have to check with Charlie too if she minds.
I'm really struggling with names, my other two have 4 letters each in their names so I'd like to follow this pattern. Initially was thinking Rico, Jago, Vigo or Nico something along those lines but Dh isn't convinced....it is so hard with a third boy, we've used up our favourite names already. I feel a bit silly copying everyone else but it has been on our list since I 'met' Charlie. wouldn't want to tread on anyone's toes though...

Indigo, gosh less than a week to go!! My Dh wanted the same name as Pinga's DS3 if twins were boys (can't remember if she posted it here or fb).
Petal, shame about the meet. Would of suited me better now, but Dh is working and only has no annual leave left!! Plus it was gonna be too much travelling for us as girls still unsettled and it's a 7/8hr drive for me, over 300 miles.
can't wait to see pic's!! x
Babymad, how did u get him feeding 4hrly, what I would give for that!!!! The girls can VERY occasionally fed at 8.30pm and slept till 5-6am, but it's maybe once a week if I'm lucky. They went down early tonight at 8am, sure they will be up b4 midnight. Like you I'm often up after that feed, but sometime manage to sneek back to bed for an hour. Ds1 who is almost 10 gives ds2 his cereal and they watch tv till I get up with girls around 8am (if up 3-5am). They are so unsettled in bed and restless. I have to get out of bed every hour as they cry for a few secs, I put dummy in till the next 30-60mins. The boys slept from 4mths all night 8pm-8am..... the twins are awful sleepers. Wonder if I should split them up? put in own cots and they might settle more? Dh says not yet, but I'm not so sure.
Inglewood, even thou when u write about the girls being restless sleepers and are lots i just cant help going 'awwwwww' lol, they're soo cute :-))) I soo wish ds3 would have a dummy, stop him using me as one!!!! he's been sleeping in this last week, 10am yest n i had to wake him up 9.30am today! is nice to get a lay-in thou :-) but come september ill be waking him up at 7am lol.
Dh and i have decided to give pgd a go, next year maybe feb at genesis :-) Ive wrote to Savvas just waiting to hear back from him or his team so we can book things. Im excited but so nervous too. Im sure what will be will be......

Petal, I really really need a routine! It's hard with boys off school and when one sleeps the other wakens and vice versa (no joke!) They cat nap in turn thru the day, so I always have one of them awake. I find it so hard to get time to myself, I only get it going to adsa to do the weekly shop, quick half hour at WW, or when I go for a wee!! lol. When I am back to work, I will reply on them napping in the afternoon to get some sleep after my nightshift. Once boys back at school on 20th aug, the plan begins, think I will TRY (lol) and read the contented baby book. They do take a 'dream' feed but it means more work for dh and I lifting them to feed them at 10pm when they will still waken at 3am regardless of when they last fed, 8pm or 10pm. My body aches from constantly sitting feeding, lifting, changing....why I'm not a size 6 is beyond me!!! lol I sound like an old moan and I don't mean to be, it's just so hard sometimes :)
You never know, is there a twin chance with PGD? lol I'm so excited for you to be doing it and look forward to hearing all about it. I would of gone, had £ never been an issue and I wish you all the love and luck in the world for your exciting plans. Don't know alot about it really, where would you go? Cyprus?

I've not seen Charlie around in a while, I know from you guys that her lo was a bit poorly? I'm assuming things are ok now? I hope so!
I'm producing enough milk to feed atleast 2 babies at the moment, omg it's so painful! I'm having to express before most feeds just so she can latch on properly! If I don't she ends up drowning, choking or being sick! I know that expressing is in turn producing more but I'm at a loss as to what to do :S
She wakes probably twice a night once we've gone to bed, but it's still early days so that may change!
Hope the girls that are meeting have a lovely time!
It is hard getting onto a routine, it does help that my boys are older, i dont think i could manage with a baby and 2 toddlers lol. They will get there inglewood, just takes time, although at the moment that feels easier said than done lol.
Ah Kell, glad little Lily is feeding well, better to have too much milk than not enough, i had to top up ds3 with formula coz i didnt have enough but now i barely feed him at all, once a night maybe n thats just if he wakes up n hes soon back off to sleep.
We will defo only use 1 embrio n freeze the rest (if there are any) convinced my dh doesnt produce them!!!! lol. Looking at feb half term plus an extra week :-)

inglewood ~ i'm sure they will get into a routine soon enough.. serena has only really got into a routine now these last few weeks and she's 7 months so it takes time sometimes.
what are the plans for the meet on saturday? we're still looking for places to stay that has family rooms available and dont cost too much. i think we may have found one about 4 miles from st.albans so i will have to let you all know tomorrow morning if we will definitely be coming.. is anyone else bringing their kids? it's too far a drive for me to drive on my own with dd so my hubby and boys will be coming along too.

Kell, I can't make it. But think Deaks is sorting stuff out as she's near there????? She's on hols at the mo, but sure sunset or one of the other ladies going will even email u the details. That would be lovely if u could go! Sounds like Lily is doing well! I BF ds2 for a while and it was difficult with super fast milk coming out choking him and making him vomit, was hard going....and messy!! lol

For some reason I thought it was going to be near great Yarmouth so didn't think if be able to go, but if it's near Deaks then chances are I could make it :)
Inglewood I have family in east Lothian so know what a treck driving all that way is, it takes me around 5.5-6 hours to get from my house near London to my mum newr mussleborough, but that's not with newborn twins!!
Maybe when I'm up that way again visiting we could see about meeting up!

I am in Olympic fever. Went to volleyball Monday and thought I was going to explode! Hockey on Monday so it's a expensive few weeks! It's like Christmas I am so excited which is weird really, I love watching but not doing sport. Think I have the build for the judo after today!
