You guys are going to think I am nuts! SO after going through the sways and outcomes I noticed 2 ladies Belle & jjc3434 who had successful girl sways use repHresh before the DTD. Belle said it was a 1/2 hour before they did it. SO that makes me think I can still work! Now I am thinking I should just see if it works... then if not next month I might do things differently.Quote:

NO they said at least 8 hours before your attempt but I had some EWCM yesterday and a decent amount so I put a tiny bit of repHresh up there about 5 hours before our attempt.. well everyone is saying I should do another attempt today (opk is still positive) because I probably killed off all the sperm using the rephresh that close to my attempt. But I was researching the sway attempts and outcomes and 2 ladies used it close to their attempts and had success so it is making me torn on what I should do whether another attempt or just leave it at one attempt this month.Quote:

If your sway is great this month (diet & supps) then that is 90% of your sway anyway.
Just add another attempt to raise your chances of a bfp...months of bfn's is no fun and then you start letting go of big things just to get pg. Doing an extra attempt is not letting go of anything yet -- just raisng your chances of a pink bfp.
We just tried another attempt and DH couldn't go :( So we took it as a sign from God not to do another one. So now just wait, Praying that I get a pink bfp this month but I am prepared that I will have to go on next month. Now DH on the other hand thinks I will get pregnant this month. We did two attempts. That first one. Then the second one the day before o. That 2nd attempt I did j&d and took a showe afterwards. Honestly I'm 3 dpo and I have been having ovarian pain since before ovulation. Creamy CM since 1dpo and I'm still having the pain and some cramping. I'm really Trying not to get my hopes up. I'm gong to test Sunday September 30th ill be 11dpo!Quote:

Just stopping in to check on everyone, as I went on something of a hiatus from the site between my bfp and my gender scan (it was important to me that I not fixate).

Kraizy, H&D and Prayforprincess ... I'm sorry you're still on this journey. It took me twice as long to get pg while swaying as when I conceived both of my boys. Here's how I see swaying pink ... it's harder in the sense that the lifestyle is so tricky (the hunger, the limited food choices, the potions and supps and whatnot), plus it all contributes to making it harder to get pg at all ... however, unless stats have changed in just the past few months, it seems like the LE diet has greater statistical success in leading to baby girls than the HE diet does for getting women their baby boys. Not that I don't believe in the HE diet. It's just I figure that a "weaker" condition sets the stage for female babies, whereas a stronger, healthier condition seems like it would benefit both boy and girl babies.
So, you're dealing with a harder sway, but with greater potential rewards (just my two cents' though!!!).
Based on a couple of questions I saw earlier on this thread, a couple anecdotals:
*For what it's worth, I -- like Atomic -- actually dropped Vitex the month before getting pg, after having taken it for six months, as I think it was preventing conception.
*What I did with RepHresh was to use it about an hour *after* each night's attempt. That way it was never closer than about 23 hours to an attempt, so that I hopefully wasn't killing off too many sperm. For my successful cycle, we DTD on cycle days 11 through 16 and I used a full tube of RepHresh on CD 11 and a half tube on CD 14. I had also dropped Sylk and Zyrtec this cycle (and used non-sperm-friendly saliva as lube).

I am 6-7 DPO, not noticing too may signs, but I do know its still too soon! But a couple signs has me questioning and TMI - I have become overly regular in the mornings whereas I wasn't really going to the bathroom, lower abdominal cramping and actually woke up at 5 this morning because I had to pee which I never do.
Anyone else early signs??
I had cramping/ovarian pain/twinges on and off since ovulation... increased amount of CM... now boobs are sore!! Praying it is good signs for us!!Quote:

Thank you! :) The top test is just an internet cheapie (the 20miu one, not the 10miu - those don't seem to work well for me). The bottom test is an FRER (First Response Early Result).
ETA: Oh wait, maybe it was a First Response Rapid Result? Is that the same, or different? I'm not sure....but either way, it was the First Response brand. I've always had good results with that brand. :agree:

I really, really, really did NOT think it would happen this month. With all we did to sway, I really thought I'd be seeing AF. You'll see what I mean when I post my sway later today (have to go shower and then pick up DS1 from preschool first). I'm still so shocked! It's a couple days before my expected AF, but First Response tests worked!
I am on CD 17, got a +OPK this morning, but not sure if I should believe it since is FMU??? Been testing morning noon and night since CD 10, so that's 20 -OPKs and not sure to use this one as a +OPK even thought it's a digital smiley test??? And I took Clomid 50mg CD 5-9, so can it really a +OPK? And my ClearBlue Monitor has been on HIGH from CD8, so I don't know what to think. My CM has been creamy, now maybe watery, but I collected some in a cup yesterday and there was EW but it's just at the cervix and not when I wipe, so I would use that CM correct for yesterday? Anyways sorry for rambling, but I just don't know. We did DTD yesterday and the day before and will again today, so hopefully we will catch the egg. I almost forgot to say that my temps are low as well, so look at my chart and tell me what you think will ya!!!

KD, I think that's a positive!! Get to dancing, lady!!! Digitals test for 2 different hormones. Plus, if you've tested the last few days & got negs, then it REALLY sounds like this is your positive!!
Maybe today is a lucky day :) I've gotten negatives on the days I usually get positives & was getting so upset. Then this morning at 5am ANOTHER negative. So I went back to bed sad. Tested again at 10:45a and A GREAT BIG SMILEY FACE!!! :) Now I'm trying to decide if I should keep testing (I usually test pos for a day & a half) or just stop & hope everything is falling in place.
Crossing fingers & toes and saying lots of prayers for both of us!! :)
I got a +opk today too. HoPefully we can be due date buddies! ;) I am so crampy...definitely about to O. Dtd this morning and will try and get another today and at least two more tomorrow and hopefully the next day. Good luck !
