Yeah, I can only wish. :) My ds#2 was a 36 hour labor...so the opposite of #1! Really hard, really rotten experience, but we did have a home birth so at least I had the comfort of home to go through the rotten labor. Ds#3 was a water birth at home, and while I'd like to say it was better than #2... not so much. Lol! My labors have gotten harder, not easier, but that's totally not the norm. I'm actually thinking I'll go the hospital route next time around. I've had the natural experience--and when it was good, it was really good!--but I'm ready for the pain meds now. ;)

Yeah, it was first morning urine at 10 dpo. I know other women don't get their BFP until later, so I'm trying not to be too negative. Ugh, we'll see. Evap lines suck! They are confusing and lame :(

Lilith what tests are you using? Are you having any symptoms? The type of tests make a big difference. Just FYI I am a crazy tester. Starting 8 dpo morning and night. I know exactly when I ovulate (I can feel it) and I have tested with several different brands. FRER is definitely has the most sensitive test. You can get a positive at 10 dpo but the pos is so faint it will make you think you are going crazy. Most other brands you really do have to wait until 12 dpo to see anything. 11 DPO and you should see something good on FRER.

Also, do your "second" morning urine. You will get a darker line this way. Basically go pee first thing in the morning and then don't drink anything, wait about an hour and test on that urine. It is much more concentrated and it has worked for me both times to see that line.

I read your blog and I was in the same situation you were with DH not wanting anymore kids. I had to beg, plead, and nag for 2 years!! I am really hoping you get that BFP!! GL and FX for you!!

Thanks for the advice, WantingPink! I will try 2nd morning urine tomorrow. I'm 10 dpo today (although, not completely positive of my o date, I never get definitive o symptoms.) I'm using internet cheapie FRERs. They are babi brand, and are supposedly sensitive to 25 mIU/ml. However, after reading the reviews, I see that people have had issues with the tests being expired or not working properly from this seller! Now I wish I'd looked at the expiration dates of all those tests!

I am cramping right now, so there's a possible symptom. We'll see tomorrow.

Oh no Lilith... that is the worst. I had some crappy IC 25 MIU tests also this last time I tested. The thing I noticed with them is it would take FOREVER for the line to come up. So here is something else. Hold on to that test once you test. Don't throw it away as a negative until you test again. I made the mistake of tossing mine after about an hour. Then I testing again the next day and got a faint positive. Went digging in the trash and sure enough... super faint positive from the day before!! I was a little pissed to say the least!! I use to get some IC 10 MIU tests that were AWSOME but they quite making them. The 25 MIU ones work but they just aren't as good. The dollar store and Walmart 88 cent tests were just as sensitive.

I did dig them both out of the trash (yesterday's confusing one and today's) and they are identical super faint lines, which is why I think they're evaps. I kind of want to try the IC 10mIU/ml ones, but I guess I have a couple of months to worry about buying them. The ones I already bought will just have to do for now, UGH!

I agree, post some pictures! If a faint line showed up on todays it could be a positive.

OMG! Trying to take a pic of the SUPER faint line on the last 2 tests has to be the most frustrating 15 minutes of my life. Ugh, I tried! It seems that my iPhone's camera can't focus on it or adjust the color to make the line as visible in the pic as real life!

I'm pretty convinced it's an evap, though. I saw pics online of what those look like, and mine looks pretty damn similar.

Any test yet Lillith???

This cycle is killing me. All signs that I am gearing up to O!! Its so hard not to be using opks and getting ready to attempt. Esp as hubby said well if you want to try we can, you'll know if its right arghh! I am sure once I am past O ill be glad we waited though. I still have another 3 lbs to get off from the weight I gained and my appointment is a week tomorrow so just concentrating on that x

That must be awful letting this cycle pass without an attempt dreaming. But you know that it's for the best for your sway.
I've just started my 2ww. I'm actually feeling pretty good about being in the 2ww. My cycles are so long that it's been 3 weeks from af to o so now I'm just happy knowing that we had our attempt and I could be pregnant. :fx:

I have been given choice of drug methotrexate or surgery. The drug seems very hard core and so I have opted for surgery. I'm devastated as I will only have one tube left and also will have to wait for a few months before starting ttc again ...going to stop the diet for now as feel I need to get some strength back in my body.

Thanks for the "2nd morning's urine" advice, WantingPink! That bottom stick is a 2nd morning pee, and the top is a regular FMU. I'm still freaked out a bit that I've had days of super light, questionable +'s. Does that mean a MMC? I won't really be confident until I get a nice, dark BFP. I AM only 11dpo, though, and the tests I bought had LOADS of complaints about taking a long time to resolve, so hopefully this really is a REAL BFP.

I did my morning workout anyway, just in case :)

Oh, also, I don't know if you can tell in this pic, but the line is definitely pink not grey. Supposedly evaps are grey, but I'm no expert. That's just what I read online.

I say huge congratulations you're pregnant!! Mine positive loose like the bottom one so I did a digi and it said pregnant 1-2. Could you buy one of those??

Ladies been looking at stats updated. Cal/mag has good results? Thoughts? Also bd through O has good results? X

Oh, LaVieEnRose, I'm so sorry! Big hugs to you, and I'll be thinking of you while you take the much needed break from all of this to recover.

Just had a chat and decided to have an attempt this month eekk!! I am cd9. Am I stupid? I still have 3 lbs to loose that I gained and not taking any supplements this month. Hubby just took some LR but that's his first ones this cycle. Nervous but don't want to miss out and want a normal diet back x

Dreamingofwin I'm not sure about cal mag but it seems the advice Atomic gives now is to so one attempt at positive OPK, and that this has consistently gotten good results. I don't really look at the chart so I just take her word for it. :)

Today I could've swore I felt a hint of nausea a few times. I must be nuts to think symptoms would come this early.

Thinking of you laVieEnrose. Make sure you take the time to rest and recover and take some time to do something nice for yourself. Let us know how the surgery goes, and sending you all my get well wishes. 💜💜

You guys, what outfits/stuff have you bought?
I have one neutral and two girly winter outfits. I also bought a girly crib set YEARS ago when it was on clearance at Target. I loved it so much I figured I could use it for something even if I never get a girl. It was this modern farm set from dwell studio. So cute.

I have some stuff that was mine as a baby. A dress and a blanket. I always hoped to pass it on to my daughter some day.

My BFP is darker today, so now it's really sinking in. AAAAUUGGGHHHH!!! OMG, I hope this one's a pink bean! I guess this is the part where I start freaking out that what I did wasn't enough? I just posted my sway, which went according to plan, but I still feel like there was something more I could have/should have done. Oh well.

I make my kids adult-length quilts for their first birthday. I want them to have a blanket they could conceivably take to college, so no baby-cutesy fabric themes. DS1 has a green one that is plant-themed, DS2 has a blue one that is ocean themed, and I bought all the purple fabric to do an astronomy themed one for the DD I hope to have.
