girlie, 36 is really not that old and for many women fertility can still be quite high in their 30s. There is a lot of overly negative misleading info out there about fertility in thr later 30s. So I wouldn't take that too much to heart, but obviously do what you feel comfortable with. The daily cardio for an hour, no breakfast and snacking, and no meat (or even better vegan) is actually a solid sway. And one attempt/E4D ideally...

I finally got a pos OPK this afternoon after just a two hour hold and some water so FX I'll actually O. I'm on CD21 and I started getting a high reading since CD11 so I'm ready to ovulate already. lol We last DTD on cd18 so I think we'll BD tonight in hopes of O being tomorrow. I haven't been tracking my intake all week and haven't been doing cardio since I'm on vacation and it's too hard to stick to swaying with having food allergies/sensitivities. I'm hoping it doesn't matter though since next month will mark one year of swaying.

XX, how has your LP been lately? I wouldn't necessarily assume anything based on pink tinged CM as it could be due to so many things. For some reason every now and then I get a bit of pink-tan tinged CM around 7dpo. No other spotting, and in non pregnant cycles. Maybe due to a dip in hormones?

This is my first LP. If I Oed when I think I did, I'm 11DPO. If I'm wrong then I could be 6DPO. Either way, I don't have any real symptoms other than noticing that. I mean it was barely noticeable but it peaked my interest enough to check. I'm just glad I'm not a raging hormonal mess like I usually am when I resume periods post partum!

I just got home after a week long vacation at Club Med Ixtapa in Mexico! So much fun! It was an all inclusive resort so I ate enough for 3 people daily! Like 5 plates every meal lol! Just got my +opk yesterday on CD12 and it looks like it already went negative today. Usually I have two days of +opks. No recent attempts though so I guess I'll have to try tonight.

After some opinions please!!
We dtd last night and my ob said to do eod and not use opks or chart - so of course I'm charting and using opks lol BUT do I add an attempt in tonight or leave it until tomorrow and stay with eod as she recommended??? I will o sometime tomorrow. Just don't want to mess this up!! Updated to add dh just said we should stick to what ob said because what if I don't o tomorrow. Maybe he's right. Pbn3, I have to wait until it's Monday business hours to get scanned. Nothing is open here except restaurants on Sunday (Saturday isn't much better), it's like Christmas practically. The awfully limited time shops and services are open is by far the thing I hate most about living in Germany. It drives me batty. It's particularly bad bc I live in a rural area but even the big cities are dead on Sundays.

I'm so jealous of your timely positive OPK. I would definitely stick to EOD. More often could deplete sperm too much and could tire you both out if O is by chance delayed.

Thanks maiden I'd started leaning towards going ahead with attempt but couldn't stop worrying about over doing it so maybe your right. I think my gut is telling me to stick to eod too.

So because I cant decide to bd or not bd I resorted to writing yes and no on two same size bits of paper and drew blindly. Both times, almost an hour apart I drew yes. Hope fate doesn't kick me in the butt and I actually o tomorrow. This will sound absolutely crazy but I have another question: do you think fresh swimmers - while less quality recuperation wise (24 hours old) can interfere with sperm that has already capacitated and is waiting? I'm just nervous of an extra attempt as I'd have had the same schedule basically for past two cycles I think but this is my first clomid cycle and I want to maximise my chances!!! I'm nuts for even wondering about this right???? I hate that I've gone from a solid plan with no plan to deviate from it to now second guessing every thought :( I just want to make a decision and be happy to stick to it!!!

I don't think anyone knows but I doubt it matters significantly. If you're stressed about not having enough attempts by all means attempt. Better than worrying so much! It's not a huge difference really. Do what YOU feel comfortable with since you're not swaying. You do have more Clomid though right? This isn't your ONLY Clomid cycle? Since the data indicates you, not DH, are likely the reason for your recent troubles, the Clomid is what will make a real difference this cycle, not your BD pattern, IMO.

And thank you for your input! I'm really annoyed at myself for second guessing my plan this cycle! I make up my mind to add an attempt then 5 minutes later I change it again. I've actually got 6 cycles worth of clomid in my scripts lol even though I told ob I'd try for another 3 which is pretty much where I'll finally draw the line as I will be yet another year older.... I keep jumping from less is more to more is more (swimmer wise) and initially I was dead set on not using opks for this very reason!!! I really do think I'll o tomorrow and a morning bd is out of the question. So back to deciding hahaha!!!

No slip ups during vacation unfortunately, but we did manage to BD twice in an hour but that was 6 days ago so doesn't matter. And now DH is asleep next to me without BD tonight! He literally falls asleep within a minute of his head hitting the pillow and if I try to wake him up he gets super grouchy! I did manage to wake him up and BD three days ago but I doubt I can do it again tonight. Oh well.

Pbn3 I'd stick to EOD as well. Even of you O tomorrow, BD two days before O is still the best chance at conception. Your attemps would be O-2 and O day correct?

Ok so after a big chat with dh we are not going to dtd tonight and we will stick to eod. The compromise was if I wake up early enough tomorrow I'll sneak out of room and we'll bd on morning. (I still co sleep with ds1 *sigh and ds2 still in cot next to my bed). I have asked dh to oil both the door hinges tonight lol!! Thanks for putting up with my crazy!!!

I did a pregnancy test this morning and it was a BFN. Either it is too early or I'm not pregnant. Will test again on Friday, 12dpo.

Princessmom - that is a darker line! I'm sure it is such a good feeling! Congrats again.

Pbn3 - good luck with your attempt! I think there is a good chance of getting pregnant at 0-2, but an extra attempt can't hurt anything! :)

Essnce, I swear I've conceived from BD 10 days before O and also from 6 days before so I wouldn't completely discount it. Really praying that some hearty sperm are up there waiting on your egg. I hear you on grouchy men, it's not worth waking a bear!

Pbn3, sounds like a good compromise. Honestly my temps are unlikely to tell me much. But I might test early this cycle since I got 2 attempts in and had a lot of fertile CM this time on Clomid. Maybe on 10dpo if no spotting/cramping/low temps. Waiting until the 16th/15dpo otherwise seems soooo far away.

Haha, maybe if I was still 21 and had a week of ewcm like I was when I got pregnant with DS1!!! I highly doubt it though at nearly 35 now with no fertile cm! Temp is still low today though so hopefully I'll get another chance tonight.

Did my 7 DPO Progesterone Blood draw this morning. Just looked up the results, the level was 12.51. This is the highest I have seen it so I think the Clomid helped and I am happy with that number. I'm sure the RE will not be happy with it, they say it should be over 10 for a natural cycle and over 15 for a medicated cycle, they probably won't see the results until tomorrow. I think I would decline any progesterone supplements if they offered unless I do get pregnant and the levels don't rise when checking hcg/pregesterone.

Just had a weird tingling/almost painful twinges on the right side, lasted maybe a minute. Don't think its implantation as I only felt left side at O. But it could be from last night too, I bent over and down last night to get something off the floor in front of the couch and felt something weird on the right side, like a pulled muscle almost. Need to stop symptom spotting. :)

Hi all was hoping to get some advice.... I'm really stressing myself with my cycle at the minute, still no sign of af and it was due Thursday last week so I'm now four days late!!!! I did a pregnancy test fr on either Friday or Saturday now I can't remember and it came back negative again but I still haven't come on. My temp hasn't dipped it seems on the rise and has someone who has a low amh level I've now convinced myself that it's because I'm not fertile and all my baby hormones are shrivelling up and dying in there. I know that sounds dramatic but I've not stopped crying since Saturday I'm not sleeping and I'm so worried. My husband is not great he doesn't know what to say to me or how to deal with my worry so he just ignores it and that makes me feel even worse. I'm all over the place, there's not even a hint of cramps or anything. I thought I was going to come on sat as I was really bloated and had backache and like a dull ache but nothing. If I posted my chart would that help???

Well, I'm someone who conceived with an AMH level of less than 0.03, which is essentially 0. Is there a possibility that you Oed later than you think? If so, then AF would be later than you would normally expect.

If not, then you may have a slow cooker. I couldn't get a positive pregnancy test until 21DPO with my DS2. I felt like I was pregnant, but I couldn't get a positive on a HPT to save my life, haha!

I know it's frustrating right now, but you will get your BFP. It may take more time if you have impaired fertility, but it will happen.

I think I ovulated on the 11th or 12th day of my cycle, I started on the 3rd March . I wish it was a slow cooker in there but all these disappearing and reappearing af signs are confusing me plus the negative test. My mum thinks it all to do with the stigma from my failed Ivf in Feb but even with that as it was a fresh transfer af arrived even taking cyclogest that's how I knew it hadn't worked even without the blood test. You give me hope that all is not lost there's so much negative out there when you read about low amh mine was about 6.5 but that was last year. Been too frightened to have it done since think it will send me over the edge and I'm sure my husband thinks I've already lost the plot!!

Do you have a chart Pink Lady? Can you post it if you do. You probably ovulated later then you think, that would be my guess. Hopefully you either get a BFP or AF soon so you know what is happening.

I only started it midway as I'm new to all this and didn't know about the chart until maiden I think mentioned it. Great advice

PinkLady, From What I can see of your chart I would have to say maybe you haven't ovulated yet? Have you ever had longer cycles? I could be wrong, I can't zoom in on your chart so I am only going by your temps, can't read any of the other fertility signs. Do you temp orally or vaginally and do you get at least a 3 hour chunk of sleep at a time?

Never as long as this really. I was using an opk which said I was peak fertility on Sunday which was day 11, so assumed I ovulated Monday as on Tuesday opk dropped to low fertility. I've been using the clear blue digital tests. I think I thought I had due to the test and also the rising temp then plateau for two days . My temps later after this are probably a bit unreliable as I work in retail management I am in work at really early and different times of the morning which makes it hard to take my temp at same time plus my boys have been ill and waking up in the night and having nightmares getting up early so I'm all over the place. I can usually tell with my mood I get grumpy before I'm due and irritable and I have the signs but nothing now for a few days... I think there's something up as I feel like I need to pee even though I know I don't need to if that makes any sense

Oh and I take my temp orally mouth under tongue

Tfahn, considering I really think you Oed a day later than marked on your chart I'd be pleased with that P level.

pinklady, I think you either haven't Oed yet or maybe only just Oed 3 days ago. Your symptoms could be dye to impending O. Cycles after IVF can be wacky with delayed O quite common.
