If you wait until tomorrow evening/night to start your attempts (pending pos opk) you've left 48 hours between bds which gives you a fresh healthly load to kick things off so I wouldn't be concerned about those previous bds swaying pink :) But in saying that no one knows for sure just how long sperm recovery takes and your dhs swimmers could easily be replenished by morning. If you're having doubts about what to do I'd just stick to the recommendation for blue swaying which is dtd the evening of pos opk, following AM and PM or if two attempts works out better day of pos opk then do that with one the following day. Whatever is the least stress! I'd just try and put it to the back of your mind, wait and see what morning brings and go from there.Quote:

Thought I should add I started out as a pink swayer but eventually was just ttc so my advice is usually related to opks, charting etc. Anything I'm unsure of (blue sway related) I am sure to say if I don't know :)

Ladies, I got my first positive OPK (solid smiley face) of this month at noon today. If my cycle is like past months, I will get a positive OPK tomorrow too (Tuesday), and then a negative one the day after that (Wednesday). Do I start trying tonight, tomorrow morning and and tomorrow night. Or do I wait until tomorrow to start.

Nonerz rule of thumb is first pos opk is considered your true pos opk as lh surges can vary from hours to days but you should still ovulate 12-48 hours after first pos opk. Are you temping to see when you actually o? Either way I'd recommend dtd tonight, tomorrow AM and PM for your three attempts. Good luck and blue dust [emoji3]

Don't stress dreaming!! Just get your attempt in tonight! I cant tell you how many blue swayers are able to only get 2 vs 3 attempts in. You just need to do your best. Remember you may not even o until tomorrow (general rule of thumb is 12-48 hours after pos opk) so attempt tonight and try again tomorrow morning? You did attempt last night right? I know my biggest downfall was letting him in the loop. I told him I got +opk and advised when we need to dtd which he said put him under too much pressure. We made two attempts last night but no joy.
This is my 1st month using opk and bbt etc etc and I'm frustrated at the thoughts of doing this again next month! I know that sounds awful given that many people have to do this for months to get bfp. We've been so lucky each time to just conceive so this is all very new to me.
I assume there's no point attempting tonight?
