Has anyone ever had pressure in their perineal area and feel like it's tearing?? I mentioned it to my dr at my last apt but the feeling had gone away but is now back with a vengeance. I think I stand too much. Anyone have any clue?

Constipated maybe, or position of baby? Baby A has been stomping on my cervix the last fee days and it feels similar to what you're describing, along with pinching in my cervix. I wouldn't have known it was him except for my vaginal ultrasounds to measure my cervix. We saw his little feet kicking away at it and it corresponded to the pain I was getting.
Maybe try wearing a belly support band to take some of the weight off that area? I have an Upsie Belly and it definitely helps.
Or it could be a varicose vein there. Some women get them in their vulva area.

Aww! Bunnygirl you are so cute! I kinda feel for you though... those stretchmarks are looking kinda angry and I know, for me at least, when they get angry that's when they start itching but it feels like I set my tummy on fire if I scratch! Hopefully not the same for you though. I'm hoping to bypass that this round but I think it's just a pipe dream lol.
Goodness yes!! It's not so bad now that I am not working but back when I was it felt like a bowling ball trying to force it's way out! I couldn't believe it was happening so early on as that is usually a late 3rd tri issue for me. I talked to my doc and that and the contractions and he has had my cervix checked a few times and never any change so he doesn't seem to be too worried about it. Try sitting as much as you can, it may help.
Oh... don't say that word :( I am hopelessly deadlocked. I eventually go but not without a whole lot of hurting for days on end first and then I just go enough to get some relief for a day... if that. I've tried everything safe to try, even quit taking my iron pills (no known issues, just recommended by my tummy doc due to increased blood volume+issues absorbing nutrients from what I eat) but I guess this is my new norm until Jules gets here. Only 18 weeks and a couple days until D-day... I think I can make it lol.
Ok this took awhile but here I am just over 20 weeks! Still barely feeling this little girl..stupid anterior placenta- makes me mad. Lol

Awww! I'm so jealous of your pretty tummy. Mine would need an hour of concealer work to be camera ready lol.

Lol. You're sweet. After my first pregnancy it came right back to normal, no stretch marks or anything but after my 10 lber I permanently have a saggy belly button and stretch marks around my belly button- you can't see it here but it really bothers me...here's to hoping for a smaller baby so the stretch marks don't get worse.
My tummy looks like an albino zebra with a kangaroo pouch due to my first stretching me past the point of snapping back... and the too-low belly button to complete the ensemble, lol. It's really a sad sight lol.

I have really bad vein and swelling issues especially when I'm pregnant. With my first it was really bad in my left ankle but only towards my 3rd trimester and with my 2nd nearly non existent (boy girl thing maybe?) but I'm only 20 weeks and already I'm having bad swelling in my left ankle:( I am so sad it's starting so early- I'm on my feet ALL of the time- how the heck am I supposed to keep it under control?
I'm with you, two! My belly is so not camera ready after 3 full terms. I was unfortunately not blessed with one of those bodies that bounces back in the least. Saggy skin, fat pooches that never go away and stretch marks to high heaven. I've already decided that my 45th birthday present to myself will be a tummy tuck. :) It's not vanity at this point--it's reconstructive surgery!
I would too if I could afford it!! If I won the lotto that would be among the first 10 things I would do... after paying off my mortgage, student loans, etc.

I'm planning on getting a mommy makeover after the twins. It will probably be 12-18 months afterward because they want you close to your goal weight first. I dread the recovery though. It's around three months of no lifting after a tummy tuck. It seems completely unrealistic with small children at home. I need a live-in maid and nanny to do everything for me. LOL
Wish I had some workable advice :( My feet and ankles swelled SOOOO bad with my first. They were so swollen that they looked like if I poked them with a needle they would pop like a balloon. Unfortunately, the only way I was ever able to get the swelling to go down at all is to spend the entire day with my feet up. Then the next day they would swell right back up if I went about my daily business. Delivery is the only thing that got them to stop because I couldn't sit with my feet up all day long. I still swear that between the rapid weight gain (about 5 pounds a week), swelling, borderline BP, etc. that I was verging on PE but my doc never showed any concern, even when I would express concern. Of course I now know that that doc should not even be allowed to practice but... that's a whole other story. Bottom line is unless your OB has any ideas I don't think there is anyway around it and it's just something you'll have to put up with until birth unfortunately :( Hugs!
I've always wished I could do like some mommy's do and get their tummy fixed DURING the c/s. For one I'd already be recovering anyway so no big difference plus my little kangaroo pouch always makes my scare hurt while healing because it can't get the air it needs to heal and the sweat (my boys were both born during heat waves) makes it burn something awful.
How high on your bellies do the changes go? Esp those of you around 20-22 weeks (I am 21 weeks). The reason I ask is my fundus is only supposed to be just above my belly button but I noticed last night that my belly has even poofed out around my rib cage. I am not a thin woman by any means but I do have a rather large bone frame (not an excuse, doc even says so... If I were like anorexic skinny I'd still only be in MAYBE a size 10. At my thinnest, skin and bones, I wore a size 12 and I WAS 12 then so my bones have grown since then) so when I lay down you could normally see my ribs enough to count them but now, even laying down, the area around my rib cage is poofy as if lined with a thick layer of fat or something. I am still WELL below my starting weight so that can't be the case so it has to be the baby pushing everything up, so I am curious if any others around the same gestation as me are seeing the same changes...
I was told that's not possible to do because everything is too large and stretched and won't fit back properly. It needs time to retract on its own first, plus the excess fluid in the tissue makes lipo difficult. You end up with bad results where you get uneven, lumpy, rippled skin. You're supposed to wait at least 3 months afterward. I was hoping to get the tummy tuck part immediately too and nobody will do it here. I got a postpartum corset to wear instead to help with shrinking right after. If nothing else, it really helps to get rid of the excess fluid.
I'm gonna do belly binding this time too.

Thanks anyway Two...my legs and ankles are scary looking:( They aren't so pretty anyway but holy crap pregnancy brings out the ugly. Lol. And it's soooo uncomfortable to be so swollen. If I'm standing all day (or sitting the car all day as I'm a realtor) both make more sausage legs.
I want to hear more about belly binding! I've head great things but didn't want to spend the money on one last time. Which brand- how often do you wear it and for how long etc?
I've seen a few options and haven't settled on one myself. Some I have seen are like a Velcro corset, others I have seen are more like a long piece of fabric that you use to bind your belly together. I've seen pictures but not really explored it heaps. I just know I want to try it this time.

I used a basic Belly Bandit after DS1 and it worked great for supporting my core and my abdomen/waist was back to normal size in two weeks (after gaining 70 pounds with him). I still had floppy skin, but everything else was good. I was looking at a BelleFit this time except didn't like the attached panty. I got the newer corset style Belly Bandit this time. It's adjustable and has boning to help reshape everything. It was also half the price of the other one.
How long did you wear it for BG?

Great idea! I may try that this time. I admit, I never really shrunk down after my 2nd. My stomach muscles are just pretty much shredded. I have huge separation--one reason I'm all for the tummy tuck!
Two--I'm huge everywhere. Lol! Yup, up near the ribs, too. I seriously look way more pregnant than I am. And I've really only gain about 5lbs from where I started per-pregnancy (thanks to losing some at the beginning with nausea). I'm so big and uncomfortable it's hard to imagine 4 more months of this... and those are the 4 growing months!
My sister just had her baby today. I'm over the moon! The pictures are adorable, and it's killing me that I'll have to wait to me him until we drive up there for vacation next month. I felt a bit bad for her as I know she'd wanted a girl this time around, but she's so in love with the little guy already that she's gushing. :) Super happy for her.
I wore it daily from 3 days PP until I went back to work at 6 weeks. I only wore it during the day, not bedtime. After I went back to work I wore it at home until around 12 weeks.
I have the bellefit. I bought two sizes and wore the first after day 3 for a few weeks and the next one for the recommended time. I can't remember now...!

I have been hearing a lot of hype about postpartum belly wraps, I was thinking of giving it a try. I thought about getting a belly bandit off eBay but then Amazon has some that are belly and hip area that are off brand. They look uncomfortable but if it helps whatever!!

I know exactly what you mean! I am semi-dreading the end of preg as I can already tell this one is gonna be crammed into my rib cage like my youngest was at the end. My ribs get sore just thinking about it :/ Glad your sis is adjusting well and not weighted down with GD :)
It's amazing how small you are at nearly 30 weeks... WITH TWINS!!! Maybe I'm percieving myself bigger than I actually am but I look at you and think "Dang! I'm as big as she is and she is further along and with twins to boot!!" Lol. Your belly does NOT look like the home of twins :)

It feels so heavy to me and it's hard as a rock. I feel much bigger than I look, and I'm up 35-ish pounds so far. I think it's mostly concentrated to my belly area since I've gained just over an inch in my hips but lost an inch in my upper arns. Tonight I have major pitting edema after a 9-hour flight from NYC to Prague so I'm pretty miserable. I'm hoping it's mostly gone by the time I get up tomorrow morning.
Ugh! That sounds soooo uncomfortable :( Hope it clears up quickly!!
