Īm about to start toilet training miss E soon too, she does go to the loo regularly but we can't let her wander in just undies yet..soon but not looking forward to the never ending cleaning lol at least stuff will dry quick with the weather warming up lol
Lola, great that the threat is lessened and evacuation isn't necessary at this stage..hope it stays that way!!!!
Mommy - I do have a great hubby, he is a wonderful dad and couldn't care less about gender as long as Bub is healthy- helps keep me grounded, too!
Bluebooties - it gets harder the more of the same gender you have, but have a feeling all the next blue swayers hearing gender will hear blue! Fx !

Hmm pbn that is rough, not sure how you could get him to go, you'd think the cake would work. Does he say what he's afraid of?

Some kids see their poo as part of them so they fear loosing it hence "hanging" on to it, rather than flush it away...Google it, it's a real thing! ;)

Never thought of it that way!!
just know that my oldest was way harder to potty train than Ashtyn was, and Kolton just wasn't potty training until he was ready lol 3 months shy of four! lol probably will be Braxton too!

No he doesn't seem afraid as such? He'll get on any toilet anywhere, won't even use the ladder seat my oldest still uses.... my oldest was freaked out by the toilet but once be finally went he was ok (I resorted to holding him on there kicking and screaming as nothing else worked and I feel I tried everything). Once he went that once it was never an issue again. I hated doing it that way though so it was awesome when ds2 had no worries getting on the loo..... but then he'd only wee [emoji23] so really hopinhlg the chocolate cake works [emoji23][emoji23]

Definitely pbn! Keep with what he loves! He will do it for you when you least expect it! Kids are like that! Want to feel like they are the ones in charge!

I have three different types of potty trainers including one that has been decorated with stickers by ds1 (as per an online suggestion) that have only ever been used for racing along the tile floor [emoji52]
