Hey everyone!! Congrats Mommy!!! Yay, best news! Sorry I’ve been MIA, just needed a brake from here. Seems like every time I’d get on something would upset me.
I’m doing great though, this baby is definitely a mover and I LOVE that I get to have her with me at work all day [emoji6] I always have issues with low blood pressure and lightheaded-ness but had a bad day last week and went to see OB and my blood pressure was 90/50 [emoji15] Very low, but only thing I can do is rest/hydrate, ha, rest, what’s that [emoji6] Loving my big bump and it’s turning fall which is my fav season! I’m getting excited about meeting this baby - 25 weeks down, 15 to go!

Aww kat I have low blood pressure also. I have to take it weekly when I get my shots and it normally runs 96/60ish crazy.
Afm I'm setting in l&d just got my gd finished and came up here for my rh shot which by the way hurts a whole heck of a lot worse than my weekly shots! I seriously have issues though. I love being on this floor of the hospital, I love the smell, and all the nurses and I'm super super sad this will be my last time here. [emoji22]

Awww mummy! That's great! Praying for a pink sticky bean for you!
I have a question ladies - looking on due date threads and TTC threads why are there so many more pink swayers than blue is it because:
A: it's easier to fall pregnant with boys without swaying knowingly?
B: Because women are all on here, the mothers want to have a daughter to experience that mother-daughter closeness? So if they end up with two girls they don't particularly mind if they don't ever have a boy but if they have boys really want to have a girl still. (A teacher at work said his wife only ever wanted girls and they have two and she's so content - she's a dance teacher and is quite girly. However, he is your typical buff PE teacher who I know would love to have a boy but his wife just doesn't want a boy.)
C: something else - your theory??

Dancing I think its a mix of things. Like Bluebooties said, on average more boys are born than girls. For me I originally found this site because I was looking into ways to up my chances of a girl naturally. I am very very close to my mum and I began panicking that one day my boys will marry and I will lose them. Well not lose them as such but daughters seem to gravitate more towards their own mums than their MIL's lol. Its only natural but I started picturing myself only seeing my boys and any grandchildren on occasion. Its funny though because now I no longer feel that way. If anything I have trouble picturing myself with a daughter and I think maybe I am meant to be an all boy mum and that's honestly perfectly fine with me [emoji3]

I was an only sister and came from a boy heavy family so had limited girl cousins growing up and i will admit growing up i did picture my self as an all girl mom and imagined all the cool girly stuff we would do together. Its only now that social and cultural pressures are taking over me.
